Hidden Boss: Stone Serpent
While Bolton chatted away with Bil, lounging in their camp chairs, Zac sat with the others to enjoy a quick meal of jerky, rice cakes, and a shot of sweeta. Though Willo and Orsen took shots of juice, all the younger party members were glad to have a moment of relaxation after a day of racing across the countryside and rushing through the ruin.
But before any of them could spark up a full conversation, Zac shooed them all to bed. He was the first to enter his bedroll and close his eyes. The rest of the party quickly followed their captain and did the same, each falling asleep in their own due time.
Once the others were sleeping, Bil and Bolton deactivated the light stones clipped onto their armor. Their conversation dropped to a whisper as they sat and waited for whatever came next. They easily relied on their veita to sense the other person only a brome or two away. This went on for more than an hour as the duo patiently sat in the dark.
