Hearing that, Jash hesitated. His mind began to replay the various fights he'd witnessed throughout the past few days. With no extra thought necessary, Jash could only accept the truth. That Bil had only allowed Jash to breach his defenses that one time. That he wasn't strong enough to even scratch Bil…

"You've got to do what you've got to do…" Bil sighed, weighing down on everyone's minds and cracking Nelphy's heart. "And, for now, I've got to get some sleep. I'll keep watch by the passage."

Bil then disappeared into the blackness. His silhouette was barely visible in the distance, pulling out a bedroll to sleep where the old seal once stood.
