3. Abduction
I aimed for the robot's legs, surprisingly, my enchanted sword could easily cut though the metal body, my saved up money wasn't a waste after all. It shot a beam of laser at me which I dodged at the last second, it hit a house behind me and let out a huge explosion. Wonder why it have such a weak body despite of having high offense capacity, could it be a diversion?
After breaking it down, I shattered it to pieces and found a weird purple crystal inside its body. This might be the source of its energy, or core.
The core broke into pieces as I stabbed it with my dagger, which made it lose its color. Guess eliminating them won't be much of a big deal for now.
I continue to walk around and break any other robots in the area if I see one.
-at the V.E.N.O.M. headquarters-
"Sir! we got a problem here!" an agent exclaims as he sees something on the screen
"Hm? What is it" Gusion replies
"This person near the area code T67-551-J5 just destroyed 9 mecha we sent there, all by himself."
"I see", Gusion says "looks like we can get a new elite member before moving on to the main operation, let me get the job done."
His body starts to disappear as he presses a button at the control room.
"Phew," I say, as I let out a big sigh. Why didn't people fight againt these robots? Didn't people have enchanted weapon to fight it? Is it immune to normal weapons? Or they only attacked places where there aren't any strong people?
Wonder if there's more in this area...
"What are you doing here?" asks someone as he appears behind me, he's a tall, slim guy wearing a metal suit, probably in his mid twenties.
"Who are you?" I replied
He ignored my question and said "this place is unsafe, I can lead you to a safe area." "Oh, my apologies, I am Gusion. And you are?"
"Thank you but I refuse, my name is Lucifer. Nice to make your acquaintance" something seems wrong... I've never seen this man here before, what's his purpose?
Took me few seconds to realize he might be an agent from V.E.N.O.M. I see him summoning a dagger in his left hand while trying to not let me find out. But it's too late.
I quickly step back and unsheathe my sword, "nice try" he said, "let's see how much of an entertainment can you be."
In a blink of eye his hands were full of daggers, approximately ten, wonder what kind of fighting style he's specialized in.
He started by throwing one dagger at me, I managed to reflect it with my sword, but his speed tells me I'm no match against him.
As soon as I reflected it back, five more daggers came flying towards me, managed to dodge 4 of them and one gets stuck in my right shoulder which makes me drop to one knee.
I tried to run towards the forest nearby but he immediately teleported in front of me, I attacked him with my sword but he blocks it with his daggers, "it's over."
I dashed sideways when he threw 5 more daggers at me, cutting the skins on my arm and two daggers stuck in my legs. I fell down, couldn't move, bleeding badly and last thing I saw was a vision of him coming towards me before everything becomes black.
