19. Twilight orb

The Phoenix stood on one of the giant crystals as it turned the whole area into ice.

"Hey calm down, Cornelius." Says someone as he appears at where we came from.

He's a tall, slim guy, around his mid twenties. He seems to have white hair, a long black and blue coat, holding a greatsword in his left hand which seems to be completely made of ice.

The Phoenix seems to get smaller in size as it goes closer to the guy and sits on his shoulder.

"Let's see...." ice starts to fade as he snaps his fingers, we're able to move again.

But unfortunately, the impact was too high for everyone to survive, only me, Alaster and few of his men were alive.

"I'm sorry to have my pet cause such a trouble, my name is Aiden. Nice to meet you."

There was only person I knew by the name Aiden, and he totally fits the description.

As everyone was surprised to hear his name, Aiden said, "Yes, you guessed it right, I'm the prince of North."

"Your majesty." Says Alaster as he and his remaining men drops to one knee.

"Oh no, no, please, drop your formalities, suit yourselves. I'm too young to receive such respect, ahaha."

"Oh?" Aiden continues, "You must be Alaster! I'm pleased to see you in person!"

"It's a pleasure." says Alaster as he stand up.

"So.. what brings you all here?" Asks Aiden.

"We came here looking for the twilight orb." I say.

"Oh! I don't think V.E.N.O.M. will find out the secret of this cave, but it's just a matter of time. I will trust you guys, Alaster, and everyone here. Come here."

We follow Aiden as he brings us in front of the three giant crystals, he looks at me and says, "Touch all three crystals."

I go ahead and do as he said, the crystals changes colour everytime I touch it.

"Wonderful." I say.

"Isn't it?" he says.

Then I step back, letting him change the colour of crystals and as he turns all the crystals to light blue colour, a portal appears in middle of it.

"Go inside." he insisted.

We went in to see a giant hall in the cave, supported by multiple pillars of ice, and at the very end of the hall something seems to glow, just looking at it makes me feel relaxed, is this the twilight orb?

"That's the twilight orb, I want you to have it." he points at me.

I go forward, it feels amazing just to stand in front of it, I go ahead and take the twilight orb, it felt like massive energy started to flow through my veins as soon as I held it, this is unbelievable!

"What will you guys do now?" asks Aiden.

Before I realized, Alaster dismissed his army and there is only three of us now.

"We'll go back to Land of Dawn after a few days." Says Alaster.

"Great!" Aiden replies, "Why not stay at out castle for the time being? We'd love to have you two staying for few days, free of cost of course!"

Alaster seems hesitant, so I answer instead.

"We'd love to!"

"You're straightforward haha, alright. Take this."

He gave us teleportation ticket for the castle.

"Let go."

And we all teleport at once.
