War Magic

(Jason's POV)

"Well, I'll be." I said, "Finally unlocked it." 

I looked up at the sky, the sun shining down on my face. 

"That makes all 3." I said 

The Screen hadn't disappeared, it was still next to me. 

"NOW, YOU HAVE 70 POINTS TO SPEND. YOU CAN EITHER CHOOSE TO SPEND IT ON MARTIAL ARTS MAGIC OR ON WAR MAGIC." 

"War Magic." I said looking down the hill and towards the field, "I'll see what this whole complex stuff you've been talking about." 

"VERY WELL. MIGHT I SUGGEST YOU LOOK AT THE 2 SPATIAL DOMAINS YOU HAVE UNLOCKED?" 

"Oh, yea." I said, "Forgot about those." 

I had unlocked 2 Spatial Domains from having sex and ejaculating inside Anna Heartfilia. They were still technically locked behind War Magic, but as soon as I unlocked that Tree, they would become available. 

The Screen switched to the two Spatial Domains. 

It Read: 

Spatial Domain- Warlord's Workshop: A pocket dimension of indefinite spasce. It is a workshop where you can use it to forge weapons, armor, and vehicles of any preferred magic properties. This could be used as a hub, it exists outside space and time and has no negative effects on anyone. Only those deemed an enemy are banned from entering. This workshop can be decorated to the liking of the caster or owner. 

- Workshop Key: A physical key that when given to another person, they have access to the workshop. Used on any door it can fit, it'll open a gateway to a room inside the workshop. Only one copy of the key can exist in the physical world. 

Void Prison: Opens a domain that is used as a prison. Exists outside space and time. This can be used to store any prisoner. 

- Sacrificial Void Key: Key forged from the prison's void. Use it to sacrifice a spatial domain to trap any enemy you wish, banishing them from this reality, essentially trapping them outside space and time. 

"Hm.." I said, "These two are really useful domains..." 

I had a workshop where I could make anything I want, forge any weapon or vehicle huh? I have to check it out and investigate the details. 

I also had a prison where I could store anyone. And the key that can be used to sacrifice a spatial domain to banish anyone outside this reality. 

I have a feeling that'll come in handy sometime in the future. 

"Alright." I said, "Show me what War Magic is about." 

The Screen then switched to the War Magic main page. 

"I HAVE WARNED YOU ABOUT THE COMPLEXITY OF THIS MAGIC. BUT KNOWING YOU, YOU WILL NOT BE FAZED BY IT." 

The Page Read: 

War Magic: Magic that manipulates the concept of War. Anything relating to War is used by this magic. Allows you to conjure, create, control, and manipulate any weapon, armor, vehicle, equipment, or anything else that is in the realm of the concept. Depending on the magic power of the user, this Magic can either be trivial or godly. This magic is highly dependent on the user's knowledge of war, anything he knows can be used. 

-Path of The Ancient: This path allows the user to manipulate the ancient way of war. Anything from the ancient days of the user's world is capable of being used. Swords, spears, bows, arrows, armor, horses, anything that was used before the use of gunpowder. 

-Path of The Modern: This power allows the user to manipulate the modern way of war, even if the way began a hundred years before his time. Probably the most potent path, as the advancement of warfare that this path has resulted in, is the most dangerous one. Guns, artillery, war vehicles, and anything used in modern warfare can be used. 

-Path of The Future: The future, where warfare is meant to reach. Whatever the user is aware of, can possibly be used as a way of warfare. 

Conjuration: Summon weapons, armor, or vehicles from thin air. Similar to arc of embodiment, this relies on the user's imagination. 

Transmutation: Transform any object into a weapon, armor, or vehicle. 

- Living Weapon: Can transform any organic material into a weapon. The more magic power the material has, the more powerful the weapon.

Domains: This Magic has access to its own unique domains. However, unlike Martial Arts Magic, these domains are different. 

Ultimate Weapons: Specific weapons that are locked behind a specific tier or tree within this magic. They possess incredible power that can rival an empire. 

I looked at the screen. This was probably the largest summary of one of the Magic Trees I've read. And I have a feeling this was summarized as shortly as possible. 

"Huh, How about that..." I said

It's a lot to take in and understand. These paths, do I have to choose them or do certain spells have those paths? I have to look into that a bit deeper. 

"THAT IS NOT ALL. I'LL SHOW YOU THE PAGE OF THE SPELLS AVAILABLE FOR UNLOCK. THOSE SPELLS HAVE THEIR OWN LENGTHY EXPLANATIONS.."

The Screen then switched to the first page of available spells. 

It Read: 

Battlefield: Powerful land-shaping spell that can be further boosted by Sage God Slayer Magic as a land enchantment. Cast around the area to shape the land and have full control of it. Anyone caught up in the spell is forced to be in the effect. (15 points)

Airspace: Air-controlling spell that can be further boosted by Sage God Slayer Magic as an air enchantment. Control the air, anything or anyone that flies in it can be subject to your whim. (15 points)

Naval Superiority: Naval controlling spell. Anything underwater or on the surface is caught up in your spell. Cast on the area to have full naval control. (15 Points.)

I have 70 points to spare. If I chose all 3, I'd have 25. These are enchantment spells, I presume. I have to choose sparingly so I have points for any other spell I can use. 

"Hm..." I said, "I'll first choose the first one." 

I clicked on Battlefield. 

As I chose it, the page switched. 

It read: 

Hunted by A Lone Shadow: Shape the land in a massive rocky hill terrain where there's very little cover. Anyone caught up in the spell is forced to hide from you in which you hunt them with your sniper rifle, shooting at them from an undisclosed location. (2 points.)

Crimes of The First War: Shapes the land into intricate trenches surrounded by electric barbwire. Anyone caught up in the trenches can fall victim to plane bombardment or gas bomb attacks. (2 points.) 

"Holy shit." I said, "There are specific spells?" 

These two seem interesting to say the least. I decided to unlock them so I clicked on them. That makes 19 points spent already. That leaves 51. I have to choose carefully what's next. 

There's the whole weapon summoning, no? 

"Screen show me the weapon summoning," I said

"CONJURING OR TRANSMUATING?" 

I raised an eyebrow, "Uhm.." I said, "What's the difference?" 

"THE STRENGTH OF THE WEAPON, I SUPPOSE." 

"S-Show me conjuring..." I said rubbing my temple

Path of The Ancient: Summon specific weapons from the old times out of thin air. Depending on the magic power used, the strength varies. (5 points.)

Path of The Modern: Summon specific weapons from recent modern times out of thin air. Depending on the magic power used, the strength varies (5 points.)

Path of The Future: Summon specific weapons from the possible future out of thin air. Depending on the magic power used, the strength varies. (5 points)

15 points for all three? I mean, it's quite expensive to even have access to all three paths. 

"Hm...." I said, "Screen....I have to spend points to even use my magic?" 

"YOU CAN SUMMON WEAPONS FROM THIS WORLD AS DEFAULT. HOWEVER, THESE WEAPONS SHALL BE ORDINARY. TRY SUMMONING SOMETHING." 

I raised my arm, focusing the magic. 

Suddenly, I summoned a sword. 

"Huh..." I said, "Interesting..." 

It looked rather basic, nothing too flashy. It was just a regular iron sword that could probably break from one of my swings due to my strength. 

"SUMMONING WEAPONS FROM YOUR WORLD VIA THE PATHS CAN GREATLY ENHANCE THEIR PROPERTIES. NOT ONLY THAT, SPENDING POINTS ON THESE PATHS WILL ALLOW YOU TO HAVE ACCESS TO CERTAIN SUB-TREES THAT WILL GRANT YOU SPECIFIC WEAPONS THAT'LL BE FURTHER ENHANCED BY YOUR WHIM." 

I blinked, "Huh?" I said

The weapons from my world wouldn't be as strong as the ones from this one, considering this is a fictional and powerful one compared to mine. Could it be due to me being naturally from another world?

"I SAID IT WAS COMPLEX." 

I sighed, "Yea, you did." 

I clicked on all three paths, spending 15 points, leaving me with 36. 

"Are there any spells besides these I should know about?" 

"YES." 

The page switched to a different one. 

It Read: 

Advanced Core: This spell grants you a powerful ability for technological advancement. Anything summoned by this spell will not be considered magic, but rather proper reality. Using this will grant you the knowledge and ability to advance any weapon, armor, or vehicle. Using this in the Warlord's Workshop gives you a greater advantage (15 points.)

"Okay then." I said clicking on it, "This one seems good." 

I now had 21 points. All of them were going by real quick, it was crazy. 

The page then switched to a different spell. 

It read: 

Warmind: Felicity: Artificial Intelligence specifically meant for Warfare. Felicity will be in charge of taking control of any technologically advanced vehicle or weapon. It has the voice of a female and it'll be extremely loyal to you, no matter what. (25 points.)

"Huh." I said, "An A.I, eh? I can't unlock her even if I wanted to. But it might prove useful." 

I then closed the screen and began to rub my neck, looking down at the hill. 

"I think that's enough for now." I said, 

"I'll check the Workshop now."
