" Alright! I can't believe I actually slept good. I'm not used to it. What time is it?.... SHIT I'M LATE!" Marco yelled as he saw it was past noon and that Team fairy tail had already left. " Damn it Where is the first stop they were supposed to be heading too. Damn it I'll just have to follow the train tracks to the next town." Marco said as he leapt out of his window turning into his full phoenix form.

Marco flew after the tracks for 30 minutes before reaching the first train station that had been attacked and landed asking the guards what was going on. they told marco that a dark guild had hijacked the train and went to oshibana town.

" Damn it! I have to hurry to oshibana town and fast!" Marco said as he took off full speed towards oshibana town. Natsu, Lucy, Gray, happy, Erza don't worry I'm coming guys!" Marco proclaimed as he continued his journey towards oshibana town.

After another 30 minutes marco reached oshibana town to find the sight of a giant wind funnel covering the train station.

" Natsu! Lucy! Happy! Gray! Erza! Can any of you hear me!" Marco shouted into the barrier

" Marco! Marco is that you?" Erza screamed back

" Yes it's me what the hell is going on erza?" Marco asked her.

" Marco listen to me! A man named erigor is heading towards clover city. He's planning to use a forbidden death magic called lullaby to kill the guild masters there you have to chase after him."

" What about you guys?"

" We'll be alright we have a way out, but it will take us sometime. You're the only one who can do this marco." Erza shouted out of the barrier.

" Alright I'll stop him, then I'm coming back for you guys! You hear me!?"

" Yes! Now GO HURRY!" Please Marco you have to hurry and save the masters. You're the only one who can do this now, I'm counting on you Erza thought to herself.

" DAMN RIGHT!" Marco shouted back as he once again transformed and took off towards clover city.

" Damn it me and my big mouth. I just had to jinx it didn't I. Nothing's going to go wrong I said, Well ain't this a bitch. I hope the others are ok. Wait up ahead there he is. ERIGOR!" Marco shouted

" What the Hell! What are you? It doesn't matter STORM MAIL!" Erigor shout shooting a Funnel of wind towards marco that hits him square in the face. " Haha How'd did you like that. Huh!?"

however marco fly's right through it seemingly unscathed as he turns upside down in the air Delivering a powerful upside down kick to erigors' head. " Yaaaaah!" sending him rocketing towards the ground.

" That's for messing with my guild mates jerk." Marco said looking at the man below him.

Erigor stands up blood leaking from his head, nose, and mouth.

" What are you?" He asks marco again as marco lands in front of him.

" Someone you shouldn't have pissed off." Marco said while grinning at the man

" I'll Kill you!"

" Go ahead and try!" Marco said keeping his grin.

However before the two wizards would battle a voice came shouting from the sky

" Marco! He's Miiiiine!" Yelled natsu as he landed in front of marco

" Natsu how the hell did you get here?"

" Marco, Lucy's spirit helped us slip past the barrier."

" Is that right? Look I'm sorry natsu, but I don't think you can take this guy." Marco said taking a step forward placing his hand on natsu shoulder.

" I got this, just trust me!" Natsu said looking back at marco with a smile and giving him a thumbs up.

Honestly what am I gonna do with this guy marco thought to himself. " Ok natsu I'll let you fight him, but if it looks like you can't win I'm stepping in got me?"

" No!" Natsu said to marco.

" What! What do you mean no?" Marco asked natsu with a glare

" I don't plan on losing marco!" Natsu said with a grin on his face

" Hm smart ass. Alright Natsu give him hell then." Marco said to natsu giving him a nod of approval

" You think you got what it takes to beat me you insignificant fly?" Erigor said with rage in his eyes.

" I don't think can I can. I know I can." Natsu said as his two fists ignited into flames.

" Get out of my way kid or else." Erigor said as he used his magic to blow natsu away.

" Is that all you got?" natsu said retaliating with a left kick and a right punch.

Erigor takes this chance to retreat into the air. Impossible he uses his flames to jump and to strike! I underestimated his power this might actually be a challenge Erigor thought to himself.

" What are you doing up there coward, get down here and fight me like a man!" Natsu yelled

" Don't get to cocky fly." Erigor said casting a magic spell that turned into a tornado that knocked natsu away.

" Ahhhh!" Natsu yelled

" STORM BRINGER!" Erigor yelled.

" Shit natsu!" Marco yelled jumping in after natsu. " Damn I gotta catch him." Marco said rushing to save natsu. " What the hell!" Marco said as he dodged out of the way of natsus fire. " WHOA!"

Natsu awoke and used his flames to jump back up onto the bridge.

" That was a close one. Heh so that's what you were trying to tell me. I get it now." Natsu said as he clenched his fist with a smile on his face.

" Impossible!" Erigor said in disbelief.

" You must be pretty cold up there half naked like that, you want me to warm you up?" Natsu said confidently

" Your flames are powerless against me." Erigor said to natsu

" Oh yeah we'll see about that. FIRE. DRAGON. ROAAAAR!" Natsu yelled as he blasted an enormous amount of fire and magic out of his mouth towards erigor.

" Well damn natsu, you really are something you know that." Marco said proud of his friends new found strength.

" STORM WALL!" Erigor shouted casting his magic to create a shield to protect him from natsus attack. I can't believe this kid, there's no rhyme or reason to his attacks. Is this what all fairy tail wizards are like erigor thought to himself. " Although your powers are remarkable, I'm afraid you're still no match for me. Enough of this cat and mouse chase. It's time to get serious." Erigor said with a smirk on his face.

" Heh! Ready when you are." Natsu said returning the gesture.

" STORM MAIIL!" Erigor shouted before spinning his scythe and being surrounded by his wind magic. " here I come."

" RAhhhh!" Natsu yelled as he charged erigor with his fist on fire before being pushed back by the wind.

" What's the matter can't handle the breeze?" Erigor taunted natsu

" Coward, you just had to wrap yourself in a wind barrier. This will break through it." Natsu said as he slammed his fists together before attacking erigor again. "FIRE DRAGON IRON FIST!" natsu yelled as his fist slammed into erigor, but the attack didn't go through. " What the! why did my fire go out?"

" Just as I suspected you're completely helpless without your flames. Looks like I have the upper hand."

" No way!" Natsu said.

" Unfortunately for you the winds of my storm mail attack blow outwardly. If you get too close It will smoother your flames leaving you powerless against me."

" Oh Yeah!"

" Fire can never defeat wind! Now do you understand little fly?"

" This is intense it's like standing inside a typhoon." Natsu said

" It's time to blow your flame out for good, now STORM SHRED!" Erigor yelled as blades of wind raged towards natsu.

" AHHH!" Natsu yelled as he jumped towards erigor to attack, but his attack was nullified again. " I can't even get close enough to lay a punch on this guy."

" Feeling a little frustrated? Don't be too hard on yourself you never had a chance against me. Hahaha! But don't worry I'm going to put an end to this now. My soaring phoenix magic rips everything to shreds. EMERA BARAM!" Erigor shouted

" That is a dangerous spell natsu, whatever you do don't let it touch you ok." Happy said to natsu

" goodbye! Fairy tail fly." Erigor yelled as a tornado of razor sharp winds slammed into natsu.

" Shit!" Marco said as he jumped behind natsu catching him and placing him back on the ground.

" Natsu!" Happy yelled.

" Ho oh ho I'm impressed his body is still in one piece after that attack. Not too shabby for a wizard so young. After I play a melody on the lullaby for those old guild fools, they'll be joining you in your eternal rest." erigor said

Natsu angered by erigors words slammed his fist into the ground. " All you talk about is that stupid flute. If you wanna kill the guild masters you're gonna have to get past me."

" Damn right natsu!" Marco yelled supporting natsu. This kid really is something else not to many people are getting up from an attack like that let alone continue to fight. I've forgotten the strength of the old dragons. Natsu the son of the fire dragon king igneel. Yes you really are amazing, Marco thought to himself with a smile on his face. "Wherever you are Igneel I hope you're proud of this little runt you raised." Marco whispered to himself.

" Impossible how are you even standing?" Erigor asked.

" Enough talking it's time to start fighting come on." Natsu roared

" I told you you're wasting your time." erigor yells as his armor repels natsu again.

Being pushed back again causes natsu to rage. He begins to wonder why his attacks aren't reaching him.

" What is this the angrier he gets the more intense his flames become." Erigor said

" He's really doing it, he's changing the direction of the wind." Happy said

" RAAAAAAAAAA!" Natsu yelled as his flames continue to burn hotter and hotter breaking erigors barrier.

" The flames of emotion, but how could that be it's an ancient magic. Where did this kid learn how to use it. HUH! What the it's drawing my wind towards it. Erigor says as his barrier continues to dissipate

" That's it!" happy realizes on what he needs to do. " Natsu you stink just give up and let gray handle this because you're never going to win." Happy says with a glare

" Uh oh! Oh hell!" Marco says realizing natsus gonna burst

" WHAT DID YOU SAYYYYY!" Natsu yelled

" His flames are blowing away my storm mail!"

" RAAAAAAAAAH!" Natsu continued to yell " I'm gonna take you down."

" Haha There you go natsu give it to him." Marco yelled

" This fire magic is so strong, surely he couldn't be." Is all erigor could say before natsu slammed his fist into his stomach

" FIRE DRAGON SWORD HORN!" natsu yelled knocking erigor out. " Did ya like that you guys.

" Hell yeah natsu!" Marco said to natsu.

" You showed him that if you mess with the salamander you're gonna get toasted." Happy cheered

" You weren't too sure of me earlier."

" Cats have a really bad short term memory you know?"

" You said I'd never be able to beat him so I should leave it to erza or something like that."

" Whoa you're memory must be even worse than because I said gray not erza, but it doesn't matter cause you won natsu!"

" You bet I did, though i'm not really sure how I pulled off that last attack."

" Guess you're just that awesome."

" I guess so hahahaha!" Natsu laughed

" way to go natsu I knew you could do it kid." Marco said holding out his fist.

" yeah marco!" Natsu said fist bumping him.

As marco was restraining erigor lucy erza and gray all pulled up to them along with kageyama. of course as soon as they see each other natsu and gray were at each others throats.

" I can't believe you had such a hard time with this guy." Gray said taunting natsu

" I never said that. I beat him didn't I."

" I was kinda worried there." Happy said helping gray.

" You look pretty stupid wearing a scarf when you're half naked." Gray said also missing his shirt

" Like you have room to talk." Natsu said to gray before asking lucy for her clothes.

" Hmhm! Anyway well done natsu thanks to you the guild masters will all be safe now. We might as well stop by the guild masters conference to tell them what happened and ask them how to properly get rid of the lullaby flute." Erza said

" Might as well since we're so close to clover!" Happy said

As they were talking kageyama uses his shadows to sneak attack the fairy tail group, stealing both the lullaby flute and the magic mobile.

" Kage!" Erza shouted

" What do you think you're doing!" Gray yelled

" lullaby is mine now! shouldn't have let your guard down flies ahahaha." Kageyama said as he sped away.

" That Jerk!" Natsu yells

" This is how he pays us back for saving his life?" Lucy screamed.

" After him!" Erza yells

" God damn it all to hell." Marco says as he turns into his phoenix form shocking his friends.

" Marco what the!" Gray says

" There's no way!" Erza said in shock

" He's!" lucy trembles

" A PHOENIX!" Everyone yells with Natsu being the one to have stars in his.

" COOL!" Natsu yelled

" Look we can talk about this later I'm gonna try to catch him, hurry up and get a move on." Marco yells as he takes off after kageyama.

Clover town

" Damn it we were already so close to clover town. I have to focus my observation to find him." Marco says " Found him! Wait a minute he's with someone. I know this presence it's Makarov." Marco says as he lands close to the two men so he doesn't startle kageyama.

However, before marco can take action and stop kageyama he hears the master.

" Nothings going to change. You cannot change the fact that those who are weak will remain weak. Now maybe it's just me but I don't think that's a bad thing. I mean we humans are weak creatures by nature. Our insecurities are the reason guilds exists in the first place, and they are why we have friends. when we're surrounded by allies it's easier to stay positive about the future. Think of it this way if we're clumsy then we may stumble and bump into things, but if we have faith in our future, we continue marching forward our inner strength emerges on it's own. But we have to choose that path and pledge to live our lives to the fullest. Don't let that silly flute get in the way." Makarov said to kageyama not knowing the other guild masters and his children all heard as well.

One man in particular who was affected by this man was Marco. Marco simply couldn't resist crying as he heard the words of the man in front of him. This man spoke just like another man that marco looked up to.

" Pops!" Marco said crying. " I found a good home. A good family for myself." Marco said smiling.

As marco walked to join his guildmates the flute lullaby suddenly came to life.

" Ahahaha! I can no longer hold I shall come forth to devour you myself. I shall feast on your pitiful souls." The demon yelled as it landed in front of them.

This demon was stories tall and made entirely of the wood from the flute. This demon was from the BOOK OF ZEREF.

" Now then which of these delectable souls shall I eat first." The giant demon said

" No giant wooden demon is going to scare off the fiore army. Charge!"

" You doubt my power." The demon yells as it launches a blast that destroys a mountain.

As the demon begins to charge another attack the group of natsu, erza, gray, and marco attack the demon.

" REQUIP! HEAVENS WHEEL!"

" ICE MAKE LANCE!"

" FIRE DRAGON IRON FIST! "

" PHOENIX BRAND!"

" You're making me angry!" the demon shouted as fairy tail bombarded the demon.

Erza continued slashing at the demon, while gray fired Ice make lance again and again.

"I'm not finished with you!" Natsu said " FIRE DRAGON WING ATTACK!" He yelled as he burned the demon.

The demon angry at being attacked starts his song.

" RAAAAAH! Just one note and your souls will be mine." The demon yelled as the plant life around it started dying.

When lullaby went to play his melody of death it failed. All the attacks it suffered left it full of holes. After failing happy insults the demon, which causes it to go into a rage. As the demon raged team fairy tail continued their assault.

{Erzas ost}

" ICE MAKE SHIELD!" Gray shouted as he created a shield protecting everyone from fire as natsu ate it.

" I will kill you all!" the demon shouted.

After eating the fire natsu was ready to attack. " Oh yeah, now there's a fire in my belly." He said taunting the demon.

" You're not human you're a monster!" the demon shouted at natsu as he attacked.

" Oh like you can talk!" Natsu said as he climbed up lullaby.

" Stop climbing me!" The demon yelled

" REQUIP!" Erza shouted as she changed into her blackwing armor.

" ICE MAKE SAUCER!" Gray shouted as he launched an ice attack that ripped right through the demon.

The demon shouted in pain as gray and erzas attacks cut into him weakening him.

" Natsu! Marco!" Erza yelled

" NOW!" Gray shouted

" We got this! The flames of my right hand, the flames of my left hand put them together. AHHHHHHH! And this is what you get. FIRE DRAGON BRILLIANT FLAME!" Natsu yelled

" Flow my flames of life and death, burn all that are in your wake. PHOENIX ROAAAAAAAAR!" Marco shouted as his flames changed to a beautiful golden flame blanketing the sky in fire.

The two attacks hit the demon destroying it and almost every thing around it. The flute shattering into dust.

" Well done!" Makarov cheered

" You're amazing!" one of the guild masters said.

" You kids made defeating zerefs demon look easy!" The other master said

" I can't believe how strong they are! Wow! Are all of the fairy tail wizards as powerful as these four?" Kageyama asked in amazment.

" There's no doubt! This definitely is the strongest team!" Lucy cheered

" Aye!" Happy said

" we're an awesome guild aren't we!" Makarov said with a smile.

" Awesome work out there guys." lucy said to everyone.

" Thanks but it wasn't a big deal." Natsu said

" Yeah piece of cake." Gray agreed causing everyone to laugh

" Uh oh guys you should probably turn around." Marco said to everyone causing them to shake

" I can't say I know what happened, but it seems we owe a big thanks to the fairy tail guild." The master with a dog collar on says

" we do?" another master says

" even so I must say."

" They went overboard!" everyone says in agreement as makarovs soul left his body.

" Ahaha! We really made a mess of the place huh!" Natsu said laughing.

" Master we're sorry!" Erza yelled as she chased makarovs soul.

" Hahahaha!" Marco simply laughed at his guild mates as they all ran away from the crowd chasing them. Yeah pops I really did find a good family Marco said to himself.
