Unbeatable Talk-No-Jutsu

Irene flew upwards, trying to create distance from Naruto. She unleashed Sage Dragon's Roar, a torrent of dragon flames aimed to incinerate him. Naruto quickly responded with Deiton: Doro Shouheki, creating a thick, sturdy barrier of mud to shield himself. When Irene stopped her roar and saw Naruto standing unharmed, surprise overtook her. She sneered and asked, "How can you be so strong?"

Naruto simply smirked and replied, "Hard work."

He then leaped into the sky, attempting to close the distance and attack Irene. She saw this and flew farther away. Realizing he wouldn't reach her at this rate, Naruto used Deiton: Doro Taifuu, overloading the jutsu with chakra to create a mud typhoon so immense it eclipsed a mountain. Irene, seeing the colossal mud typhoon inching closer, roared again, using her flames to melt the mud. In her frantic attempt to counter the typhoon, she inadvertently descended slightly.

Naruto seized this opportunity and used Shakuton: Netsu Shibari. Bands of extremely hot flames sprang from his hands, binding Irene to the ground. Realizing she had no way to escape, she decided to use Deus Sema. As Naruto drew closer, he started talking, his tone calm but probing, "Why are you doing this? Why attack us unprovoked?"

Irene gave no reply, her face set in a scowl. Naruto continued, "What are your intentions?"

Still, she remained silent.

Naruto's words, however, finally caught her attention when he said, "I don't know why you did this, but I was hoping we could have a conversation. You don't really remind me of anyone, but your red hair... it reminds me of my mother."

A flicker of emotion crossed Irene's face as she whispered, "I am not fit to be a mother," her voice tinged with regret.

The sky grew darker, and Naruto looked up to see a giant asteroid descending upon them. He jumped into the air, intending to intercept and destroy it. Although he could have used a jutsu to obliterate it, he chose to test the limits of his Ninpō Sōzō Saisei — Byakugō no Jutsu. Meeting the asteroid head-on, his fist collided with it, shattering it into countless pieces. The debris fell harmlessly instead of exploding, preventing further destruction.

Irene, witnessing this display of power and control, could only look up in awe at the shimmering light emanating from Naruto. The fierce determination in his eyes and the sheer force of his will left her momentarily speechless. Naruto landed softly, dusting off his hands, and walked towards her, his expression softened.

Irene, finally given a moment to catch her breath, used one of her most powerful spells, Universe One. The ground burst into light, compressing and reshaping the terrain. But Naruto saw this coming and dodged again, evading the attack with ease. Irene gritted her teeth in frustration, unable to catch her opponent off guard.

Despite her irritation, she forced herself to remain calm. She realized that her initial mistake had been letting her emotions get the best of her. This young man's speed and agility were unlike anything she had ever faced. As the fight continued, Irene knew this couldn't be a battle of attrition; she needed to end it quickly. Yet, her spells kept missing their mark, and the one spell she could rely on, Universe One, was not something she could use frequently or easily.

As Irene pondered her next move, she locked eyes with Naruto. In that instant, his eyes began to spin, and the world around her darkened. She found herself reliving her entire life, trapped in a genjutsu induced by Naruto's Sharingan. Outside the illusion, Naruto appreciated the momentary respite. He had been starting to lose ground due to the changes in the terrain caused by Irene's magic.

Inside the genjutsu, Irene's memories replayed, from her early days as a dragon slayer to her transformation into a dragon, and the countless battles she had fought. She saw her hopes, dreams, and the many moments of despair that had shaped her into who she was. This forced reflection softened her resolve and brought a flicker of humanity back into her eyes.

Naruto, observing her closely, sensed the change. He could see the internal struggle and the burden of her past weighing heavily on her. This moment of vulnerability made him realize that there was more to Irene than just a powerful adversary. As she continued to be trapped in the genjutsu, Naruto approached her cautiously, ready to offer a chance for dialogue and understanding, hoping to find a peaceful resolution to their conflict.

As Naruto walked over to Irene, he canceled the genjutsu, causing her to collapse to the ground. He hadn't realized she had managed to break free from her restraints, demonstrating her strength. He sighed, acknowledging how much he still had to learn before becoming overconfident in battle. Irene lay on the ground, gazing at the sky with a serene expression.

Naruto asked, "Why were you so determined to fight?"

Irene replied, "I don't know anymore," and closed her eyes. Seeing this, Naruto sat down beside her, looking up at the sky as he released a sigh. Irene glanced at him quizzically and said, "You do know I tried to kill you a few moments ago, right?"

Naruto replied, "And you do know I can feel negative emotions, right?"

This response puzzled Irene. What could that have to do with anything, she thought. Seeing her confusion, Naruto explained, "I've been having a bad feeling from the start. It's something I didn't like to the point where I wanted to postpone joining a guild to train my students. But I believed I could protect them well. Now, that belief has wavered a bit."

Naruto chuckled as he continued, "When we started heading to Magnolia, we bumped into you. I realized then and there that my bad feeling was coming from you. There was this dark aura surrounding you for some reason. And when you said that it's simply because you had a complicated history, I kind of get it. I also have a complicated history, something I don't like talking about. But after I put you in a genjutsu, I don't know what you saw, but the darkness I felt somewhat subsided. I don't feel as much darkness in you as I did before."

Naruto looked at her with a genuine smile and said, "Guess you were able to see something that made you realize something?"

Irene looked at Naruto, a mixture of confusion and understanding in her eyes. "I suppose," she began slowly, "I was reminded of who I used to be before all this power and darkness consumed me."

Naruto nodded, "Sometimes, we need a reminder of where we came from to find our way back. Maybe this is a chance for you to start over."

Irene remained silent, her expression thoughtful. The weight of her past was still heavy, but Naruto's words gave her a glimmer of hope. For the first time in a long while, she considered the possibility of redemption.

Yet as fast as that hope appeared, it disappeared as doubt and guilt replaced it. Irene knew she was old and had spent so much time doing horrible things. The pain she had suffered, the torture and anguish she went through, and the one that haunted her the most—the desire to enchant herself into her child to become human once more. She closed her eyes as tears started to flow, thinking Naruto would be disgusted. No, she knew he would be disgusted. She went into detail about what she had been through and what she had done, how insanity had consumed her for so long.

She spoke of her days as the Queen of Dragons, revered and powerful, and her bond with Belserion, the Sage Dragon who was like a father to her. Belserion had been her guide, mentor, and protector. His wisdom had shaped her, and his death during the Dragon King Festival had left an unfillable void in her heart. She recounted how she had cast the enchantment magic that allowed humans and dragons to coexist, only for it to backfire and slowly turn her into a dragon herself.

Her voice trembled as she described the darkest part of her history—her attempt to enchant herself into her unborn child to escape her dragon form and become human once more. The thought of using her own child, of what she had been willing to sacrifice, filled her with a deep, abiding shame. She admitted that insanity had consumed her, and she questioned how she could ever restart, how she could be forgiven and forgive herself for all the horrendous things she had done.

Irene mentioned her gratitude for Zeref, who had found her in her dragon form and given her a new purpose. Zeref had provided her with stability and a semblance of humanity, allowing her to partially transform back into a human. Despite this, she realized that she didn't agree with what her past self had done. She feared that this moment of clarity was simply temporary, and when Naruto left, she would return to the way things were.

Naruto stayed silent for a while, processing everything she had said. Finally, Irene, desperate for a response, asked him to at least say something.

Naruto simply said, "Look at me."

Irene hesitated, then turned her tear-streaked face towards him, searching his eyes for judgment, fear, or disgust. Instead, she saw understanding and a depth of empathy she hadn't expected.

Irene looked into Naruto's eyes, seeing his red, intimidating gaze as he spoke, "The first step to forgiveness is to know what you did wrong, admit to it, and do better."

Irene sighed, "That's easier said than done."

Naruto nodded, "That's the point." He sat up and gazed at the sky, beginning to recount his own past. "I grew up in a village that ostracized me from the start. As a child, I was treated like an outcast, a pariah. At just six years old, I was put into a training program to become a weapon, not a person. The villagers saw me as a threat, something to fear and despise."

His voice grew softer as he continued, "I remember the crippling depression, the hunger that was my constant companion. Even the simplest joys, like having fun, were luxuries I couldn't afford. I was alone, completely and utterly alone. The people I was supposed to protect treated me like a monster. Every day was a battle just to survive, just to prove that I was more than the demon they saw in me."

Tears started to well up in Irene's eyes as she listened to Naruto's painful story. "I had no one," he said, his voice filled with a deep sorrow. "No family, no friends. I was an orphan, left to fend for myself in a world that seemed to have no place for me. The loneliness was suffocating, the pain unbearable at times. But even in the darkest moments, I refused to give up."

Naruto suddenly stood up, surprising Irene. "I realized that I had to change," he said, looking down at her. "I needed to show them that I wasn't what they thought I was. I needed to become someone worth their time, someone they could believe in. So I dreamed of becoming the leader of my village. I went through thick and thin, faced countless challenges and dangers. And while I can't achieve that dream anymore, it doesn't matter. Because I was able to change their impressions of me."

He turned to face her, giving her a small yet charming smile. "I can relate to how painful it must have been for you to lose so many, to feel so much pain and despair. I lost so many people too, so many friends." But what struck Irene was the next words Naruto said. "Being an orphan though had one thing and that is. I had nothing and no one. That became a strength for me because I had nothing to lose. I threw myself into improving, becoming a better version of myself every day. I had no one to compare myself to, so I compared myself to who I was the day before.'"

Naruto's voice was filled with a quiet strength as he continued, "I had to punch through so many walls, both literal and metaphorical, to climb to where I am now. The villagers put me through hell, but it made me stronger. The loneliness, the pain, the losses—they all forged me into who I am today. I know it's hard to forgive yourself for the things you've done. But if I can rise from the depths of despair, so can you."

Irene listened, her heart heavy with empathy and newfound understanding. Naruto's words resonated deeply within her, touching the core of her being. She realized that despite their vastly different pasts, they shared a common thread of pain and resilience. And in that moment, she felt a glimmer of hope, a possibility of redemption.

Naruto continued, "I had to fight through so much. The villagers saw me as a demon because I had a powerful beast sealed inside me. They feared me, hated me. They would throw things at me, call me names. I remember the nights I went to bed hungry, the times I was ignored or outright attacked. But even then, I held onto my dream of becoming Hokage, the leader of my village, to prove to everyone that I was more than what they saw. I trained hard, pushing myself beyond my limits every day. I faced incredible enemies, lost friends, and went through more pain than I thought I could bear. But I never gave up. I kept moving forward, kept striving to be better."

He looked at Irene, his eyes filled with determination. "You can do the same. You've been through so much, and you've done things you regret. But acknowledging that is the first step. You have to forgive yourself, and then you can start to make things right. It won't be easy, and it won't be quick. But it's possible. If I can do it, so can you."

Irene listened, her eyes brimming with tears. The weight of her past felt heavy, but Naruto's words gave her a glimmer of hope. She realized that if someone who had been through as much as Naruto could find a way to forgive and move forward, then maybe she could too. The journey ahead would be difficult, but for the first time in a long while, she felt like she wasn't alone.

"You can come along with us," Naruto said, his voice gentle but firm.

Irene's eyes widened in surprise at the offer. She had been ready to face whatever punishment awaited her, but this unexpected kindness left her stunned. "Why would you want me to join you?" she asked, her voice shaky with emotion. "I tried to kill you just moments ago."

Naruto smiled softly. "I know we just met, and I know you tried to kill me. But I can be someone you can rely on. No, I want to be someone you can rely on."

Irene felt tears welling up again, and she turned her face away, ashamed of her emotions. "How can I be this emotional at my age?" she wondered aloud, her voice tinged with frustration and self-doubt.

Naruto gently took her hands, pulling her to face him. "Don't hide your tears," he said, his smile bright and reassuring. "If you think crying is a sign of weakness, it's not. It shows that you've been strong for so long. Letting it out is just as important."

As she listened to Naruto's words, Irene felt as if a heavy boulder on her shoulders had shattered, leaving her feeling lighter. Her tears flowed freely as she began to cry in earnest, leaning into Naruto's chest. He held her gently, allowing her to release the pent-up emotions that had burdened her for so long. Though he felt a bit awkward, this being the first time he had comforted someone in this way, he instinctively rubbed her back soothingly.

Naruto's presence, his warmth, and his genuine compassion began to melt the icy barriers around her heart. Irene, who had endured centuries of pain, loss, and loneliness, found solace in this unlikely connection. The sincerity in Naruto's eyes and the strength in his embrace told her that she was not alone.

For the first time in what felt like forever, Irene allowed herself to believe in the possibility of redemption. She clung to Naruto, feeling a mix of gratitude, relief, and a fragile hope for the future. As she cried, Naruto continued to hold her, whispering words of encouragement and reassurance.

A/N: A slight continuation of the fight a chapter prior, sometimes I write this before hand, there were quite a few cough outs at this one hahaha, I really had to reach out there to allow Irene to be outside the spriggan 12 or atleast simply new to the association as I know that it's probably more than likely that she's been apart of it for an extremely long time, and if you guys don't get the memo yet this is an AU meaning characters won't be acting the exact same way as they did in the original series of their origin a major example is Naruto of this world, you could also probably tell where I'm gonna go with Irene in fact you probably know where I'm going with the other three, I plan to introduce 2 more people in this arc, you guys would probably learn that in a chapter or two as I plan to introduce one each and not at the same chapter, and finally if you guys have suggestions of the harem members I'm willing to listen, as long as their not outside of fairy tail, as the female characters of fairy tail are already extensive.
