We both didn't say anything. We just looked at each other, eyes scanning the other as everyone started to get off the plane. It was when a hand tapped me on the shoulder. I broke contact with Aiden. "Athena, come on." My Uncle said.
"Can you please give us one second, uncle?" I asked him, my voice strangely sounding rough to my ears.
His eyes flickered between Aiden and me as realization finally dawned on him. He nodded. "We'll be waiting outside."
He grabbed his backpack, pulling Izzy along with him as they left along with the string of people. I got up from my seat so did Aiden, the both of us standing in the aisle as people wavered around and out of the aircraft.
"Aiden," Frankie came up to us, a smile on his cute, chubby face. "I want to say thanks."
"For what?"
"For talking to me. No one likes talking about Pokemon in my school. They all think it's for babies."
