This ring is the best fit for me. It doesn't only help me in fighting but also alleviates my stress. There was an essential element that I lacked, which is how to act in danger. At the center of azure city, a huge building like that of the White House but much larger in size was crowded with many students.

Inside a massive stadium in the building, there were many seats lined up. The front seats were occupied by the professors and the rest were for students.

In the Magical Academy, one's identity is of no importance. Everyone is equal, only the strong have privileges and are respected.

Of course that's all in paper, and the reality is very harsh. Members of the elite families are feared, and the poor commoners have to lower their heads in front of them. Except the main character. Harold Light, the protagonist of the story never lowered his head. The reason why I loved that novel is because of him. I used to compare myself with him as he is somehow similar to me. First, he was an orphan, well technically he wasn't at some point. His parents died unnecessarily in the dispute of some rich families. The protagonist grew colder but hides his true self from others. He always from his name show brightness and cheerfulness.

" He should be ranked 2nd for now"

the protagonist had many talents that boosted his growth, but the most terrifying thing is his magical nature. His magic itself can even stop the flames made by the demon king. Although The demon king has been beaten, He never dies, He is the strongest creature with an SSS peak rank power in this universe. To put down his flames Is nothing short of a miracle. That is why he is the only light in this darkness.

" here comes the main leads"

The first to appear was a blonde young teen with deep blue eyes as the ocean. His main role is a spearman at the front lines. The first thought that could cross someones mind when they see him is ' Handsome'. Unfortunately for them, this handsome guy turned into a very strong villain that was difficult to kill. Yes the very same 'cockroach' his name was Zen Sylvicous. Zen had many talents as well. Even If I took his martial arts, He will still grow into a powerful monster, after all it wasn't his main martial arts and I doubt that his father would not spoil him.

The second to appear was the archmage. A beautiful brown auburn haired girl with golden eyes entered the hall. She was the same girl that I met in the train station. Sophia Alex, daughter of the obsidian rank guild ' Sunlight '. Her grandfather Markus is an SS rank magician who is also the current principal of the academy. The guild leader Genos Alex was his son an S rank hunter who is specialized in magic swordsmanship. She was known for her cute personality. Acting angry and annoyed most of the time but hide her true feelings, truly what you might describe a tsundere.

Next was the rich celebrity. Known as the genius who even the dwarves were amazed by her mind. Livia Roman, a dark haired girl with dark eyes, long black hair with glasses that adds a touch to her diligent charm. she is the smartest human alive. Her cold and indifference are because of her boredom. She was smart, powerful and much more mature than others. The 1st place was hers, of course after recognizing the main character potential, they assigned him as the 1st.

After her the future saintass entered the hall. Sali malak, with golden hair and golden eyes her role was a support healer. She can even revive back cut off limbs, but she have to pay with her own vitality in such cases. She was an important character who gave many advices and had some visions that were always correct and could have saved the main lead from many troubles, unfortunately she was killed by the demon Ezec as he hated her holy magic just like he hated the main character who was very difficult to deal with. This time, however; Ezec wasn't summoned, so maybe she will survive longer than what was mentioned in the novel.

Last was the villainess. She is probably the most heartbreaking character for now, and her back story was quite sad. She was the 4th child of one of the infamous elite families the 'Hermes'. Loren Hermes, who had a white hair as the snow with dark lavender eyes, seemed calm and peaceful.

" She is still hiding her power"

Being the daughter of a commoner mother, she had no chance to compete with the family head seat. From birth, she was cursed and never got to experience happiness. As soon as she reached four years old, her mother was killed just because another wife's jealousy. She tried to live peacefully, but the other children and wives made her simple wish never come true. Constantly humiliated and beaten up because of her dead mother, she preserved and put on a facade. She kept apologizing and acting weakly even though she was the current strongest student.

Yes, she currently surpassed the main character himself…

"but of course that's because he just recently got his system."

Usually it is impossible to fool the academy evaluation, but her arcane { Panthers Tears } made it possible.

An arcane that she found after searching relentlessly and by some luck, it was the best skill for hiding. an SS rank skill that allows the user to adjust their rank into a weaker one and pertain their real power somehow in their weak rank. It can fool even S rankers. Probably, only the elves can sense the disparity in her rank.

" what a weird feeling"

These are characters that I used to mumble in my free time. Back in the original world, I witnessed their life from some young children to monsters. The character development was so real that I honestly got attached to the novel. Specially, the protagonist as I perceived him as myself in the novel.

All of them died eventually….

" Should I save them ?"

I have been thinking deeply about this question since I got into this world. Should I help the main lead? Or should I just focus in myself? I didn't care about the plot like what I have read back in my world since the plot was already going into a bad end.

I kept thinking about this question, and suddenly a microphone started the announcement of the ceremony.

" Welcome dear students, to a new year and a beginning of a long journey into becoming a hero..."

Startled by my sudden introduction, the student answered

And that's how I made my first friend…..and I somehow had a premonition that I would regret it...
