Battle in the forest 2

As Liam lowered the arrow in his hand, he looked at it with a dumbfounded expression.

"Get down. There's an archer." Luca Commanded as they all took cover.

"Liam what did you just do?" Asked Stacy as she looked at the arrow still in his hand.

"I don't know. I guess it's my personal aspect at work. I just sensed danger and my body moved."

"The team attacking us is most likely team 4. Lia, Johan and Ester. Ester is the only one of us that uses a bow." He stated

"OK, so what do we do?" Asked Liam

"I'm not sure. If only I could know where she was shooting from, I could Lightning bolt her." 

"I'm sorry. Do what?" Asked Liam as he was unaware of his personal aspect.

As they were conversing they heard a loud explosion as something had attacked where they were hiding.

When they all peeked out, they were met with Johan and Lia. Only Johan looked unusual as he was dragging his fingers across the air.

Suddenly they witnessed an unfamiliar text come into existence before him, as it slowly turned burning red, and soon the words started flying toward them. 

They weren't brainless to keep observing whatever this was, so they took cover again, only to be sent rolling across the floor, as the unfamiliar text had combusted.

They got up as they prepared to fight. But again 3 more arrows were shot at Liam. But the same as the first one, he deflected all of them using his wooden spear.

It seemed like the archer caught on that the arrows wouldn't be effective on Liam. Therefore they changed their target to Luca.

However, Luca was experienced enough to deflect these and still charge in. He came face to face with Lia, who had her rapier in hand. 

She engaged first and stabbed him quite quickly. But Luca was faster as he deflected her rapier with his longsword. Following that same motion Luca swiped at her leg, hoping to throw her off balance. But surprisingly she dodged.

Meanwhile, Liam had engaged with Johan. Johan used a crossbow therefore was not comfortable with Liam closing the distance with him.

He again started waving his fingers in the air and again an unfamiliar text came to be in front of him. The text this time was different, as now it didn't explode, but instead brought forth a powerful gust in Liam's direction, slowing him down and allowing Johan to create some distance between them. 

As Johan started to shoot at Liam, it was extremely hard for him to dodge. Not only were his eyes being affected by the gust, but it also boosted the arrow's speed making them extremely fast and hard to dodge.

Just because Liam knew they were coming, didn't mean he had the speed and reflexes to dodge them. In the end, he decided to fall back to take cover.

While this was happening Lia was putting up a surprisingly good fight against Luca. 

As she slashed her rapier at him, he blocked, following up with an elbow directed to her face. She barely moved her head out of the way as she threw a kick landing it right in Luca's ribs.

It didn't hurt much because her form was crooked, but a kick to the ribs would still do some damage. As Luca took a step back he gritted his teeth. He slashed down at her with his sword, which she blocked. 

However, before she could counterattack, Luca grabbed her wrist as he started to burn her. As she gritted her teeth in pain, he took this opportunity, he brought his sword down at her, only to be deflected by an arrow.

"How is she so accurate with the bow?" Luca thought as he stepped back.

"I've had enough of this." As he said this he started to conjure up a thick fog around everyone, obscuring the view of the archer.

"Liam go take her down. The arrows were coming from that direction." He said as he pointed.

"Alright." Answered Liam.

"Stacy. What are you doing? You aren't even helping." Luca said as he turned around.

"I'm… I'm sorry. I'll help." She said as she stood awkwardly.

"Aw man, I hate that I have to do this." Said Luca inwardly.

"Hey Stacy, I saw Johan sneak into the pantry last night and steal some food!" Shouted Luca

Johan, hearing this, was confused.

"He… did… what?" She said as her sinister smile started to emerge.

Suddenly the branches of the tree Johan was standing under, started to abnormally move, as they looked to be swinging toward him.

"OHHHH DAMN!!" Johan shouted as he started waving his fingers in the air. The same text somehow emerged again, and when the tree finally swung at him, some sort of barrier-like force had been struck instead.

The branches kept whacking away at this forcefield but it didn't look like it was budging.

After a minute, Stacy had enough, she raised her two hands and abruptly brought them down. As she did this, two giant trees followed, slamming straight into the forcefield, shattering it into pieces.

But it didn't stop there. As the trees broke past the forcefield, they slammed straight into Johan. Squashing him on the ground.

"YEAH, HAHAHAH!! WHO SAID TO BRING A NATURE SORCERER TO A FOREST FIGHT!!!" Luca shouted as he was overjoyed.

Stacy, who had just realised what she had done, rushed to Johan's aid. As the trees lifted off of him, groans and words could be heard.

"That's the last time I spar with you." He said jokingly as he lay on the floor.

"I'm sorry. I'm so very sorry." Stacy said as she began to heal him.

"Leave that to me. I'll take him. Well done." As Stacy looked up to see the owner of this voice, she was met with a white fox mask, leaning over.

After seeing this, Lia decided to retreat. There was no way she could handle both Stacy and Luca. 

But before she could even take a step, Lightning struck down right in front of her.

"Where do you think you're going?" Said a smiling Luca with a gun gesture pointing at her.

"I yield." She said with a nervous smile, as she dropped her weapon and put her hands up.

Meanwhile, Liam was running through the forest, looking for a particular archer. 

Suddenly he dodged an arrow that came from his right.

But before he could move in that direction, another arrow came from the opposite direction. 

He dodged that one as well, however yet another arrow came from the opposite direction.

Seeing this, he felt like something was off. There was no way she was shooting from multiple directions at once.

As he observed the arrow after dodging it, he witnessed it make a full circle and come back straight toward him.

"What the fu…" As he kept dodging this one arrow that kept turning around, he decided to just smash it to pieces. 

However, this did nothing good for him. As three more arrows were shot out from the same direction as the first. He ducked out of the way of all three. Only for them to turn back around again.

"OK, whatever she's doing must be taxing on her. All I have to do is wait it out till she runs out of Ichor." He thought to himself, and with his intuition, that wouldn't be such a hard thing to do.

After 5 minutes or so of jumping, flipping and ducking, the arrows finally dropped to the ground.

As Liam was sweating and panting heavily, he heard the Bush next to him rustle. It was Ester. She had decided to flee before Liam could get to her.

"Oh no you don't." As he took a stance he held his spear in the air.

All of a sudden he threw his spear with such power that it zoomed to her. As it was aimed at the back of her head. She turned around just as it was about to hit her. Only for it to stop in mid-air.

"You're out." Declared Mirage, as he saved her from a world of hurt.

She fell to the floor, panting like she had run a marathon.

"Well done, Liam." He said as he threw his spear to him, to which Liam responded with a nod.

All the way, in the middle of the forest, there had been a familiar guy who had finally got up from his break after being blaster threw a good part of the plant life.

"Damn it, I used up all my Energy." He cursed as the anger was visible on his face.

Suddenly he heard rustling at his side. It was Aaron and Sophie who had been looking for him. 

"Finally, we found you. I thought you were getting trained to fight. Why did you get blasted to the other side of the forest?" Said, Aaron.

At this moment, giant veins could be seen emerging from Alex's head. Ignoring the fact that he got humiliated by Colt, he was also the reason they were in that position in the first place.

"Well, maybe that wouldn't have happened if we didn't follow your idiotic plan!" He said

"From now on, we do things my way, I don't give a shit what you say." 

Before Aaron could reply he heard Sophie starting to talk.

"I think we should listen to him too. We've done things your way and it didn't work. Let's try another approach." She said.

As the look of defeat crept up his face, he had no choice but to agree and follow Alex.

"Great. Now listen. This'll how we'll win."
