Chapter Thirty Seven

Liam opens the door to Macy's office and frowns when he finds that the room is empty. He closed the door again and walked over to Gil who was talking to the two editors.

“Senior, the Chief Editor didn't come to work?” Liam asked.

Gil turned to Liam then glanced at the Editor's empty room. He took a short breath. “The Editor-in-Chief deserves a day off after what happened in the past few days, right?”

“Paid leave?"

"No, Liam. The Chief Editor just said that he would take care of something. Personal. Why? What about the script revision?” Gil asked.

Liam shook his head. "It's not about that. Haha… I'll just send an email.” Then Liam returned to his desk.

Gil took a deep breath and glanced at Macy's room once more. Actually, he was also a little surprised when this morning he got an email from the Editor saying that she won't be coming to work today and asking Gil to take care of some things at the office.
