Chapter Seventy Eight

Andrew closed the door slowly.

After lunch, Marcus said that he was tired and Andrew took him to his room even though Macy protested a little by saying that the boy could sleep in his own room – in her apartment unit. But of course, he is much more stubborn. And when he helped Marcus to remove the sling from his shoulder, Macy tidied the dining table and washed all the dirty dishes. Well, after Andrew is busy cooking, of course washing dishes is Macy's job.

Andrew walked to the kitchen and found Macy washing her hands. All plates, glasses, spoons, forks and knives are clean and arranged on the shelves.

The woman obviously does the job fast, while he is so lazy. Even if it's just one plate, one bowl and a pair of chopsticks and a glass. Well, Macy seems to be very used to doing housework like this – apart from the fact that during the divorce process, she had to live alone and sometimes with Marcus, so she had to do it herself.

"You do it quickly," he commented.
