Chapter One Hundred Twenty Four

Hani opened her door and sighed. David just smiled faintly and handed him the small suitcase he was carrying. She took it and motioned for the agent to come in first. Although at first David just wanted to deliver the suitcase and then come back, because he left Andrew at Macy's apartment alone, but it would be rude if he had to refuse. Hence, he walked in, closed the door and took off his shoes in the foyer.

"Where's Marcus?" David asked as he followed the lawyer into the living room.

Hani put the suitcase near the sofa. “After doing his schoolwork, he takes a nap. Do you want to drink something?”

David shook his head. “I just wanted to deliver the suitcase. Are you going to the police station?”
