Chapter One Hundred Seventy Three

Andrew put the last picture on the wall. Marcus’ drawing of a little blue dog. He smiled faintly and then hi-fived with Marcus. Macy chuckled and told her son to get into bed. Andrew was about to leave the room, because this is a private time for the mother and son. After all, yesterday, he had put the boy to sleep when Macy came home late. However, the child called out to him. He turned and walked over to the boy's bed.

"Good night, Uncle."

He smiled and rubbed Marcus’ head. "Good night, champ."

Then he left the boy's room to wash the rest of the dishes that were still in the sink. When finished, he returned to the living room to check his email. Addy said that she would contact him about the flight schedule change. But until now, there is still no news.

Not long after, Macy closed her son's door slowly. She approached Andrew who focused on his cellphone. She sat next to her lover and glanced at what her boyfriend was doing.

“Checking email?” she asked.
