"I'm not sure if I still have a copy of our video about this. But I haven't deleted my files from high school to three years ago so as long as my hard drives still work, I may be able to find it."
Edric wanted to just believe her since she seemed to be speaking the truth.
If hers was the truth, then at least it meant that he wasn't a fool for three whole years. That the feeling he thought Loreen had for him while they were married must have been true.
That maybe, it only waned over the years.
After all, he still had proof about her other two miscarriages, her affair, and her plan to divorce him.
Maybe her feelings for him waned the most recently which was why she planned to divorce him.
But did she have to use extreme accusations against him?
It's true that he may not agree to a divorce but even if it hurt, he would let her go if that was what would make her truly happy.
