Chapter 42: Under the Vanilla

The night before was the fourth night in a row that that tall, intense guy had shown up to Leena’s house. Brian had taken a break from keeping an eye on Leena after his last run-in with her when that guy showed up at her house. He was too hot-headed to be around her knowing that she’d already moved on from him after four whole years together.
Brian watched from behind the tinted windows of his backup car, a black Sedan. He used it for more covert operations or when he just wanted to avoid being seen in a particular place. He’d parked around the corner across the street from Leena’s house where he could see her driveway and the big bay window at the front of her house.
