Chapter 9 Pure Jade Hall

(You thought it was Dropped? But it was I NEXT CHAPTER! On a serious note sorry for the short break, I know I got a bit procrastinatey and I ended up missing a few releases. I hope you can forgive me. ((oh wait you definitely can, because or else I'll send Heaven Sundering Truck Overlord to your house, and he won't be reincarnating you to say the least)))

The family of 3, who were sitting atop Yun, soon moved downward as they landed in front of the palace. Immediately the guards of the palace were alarmed, but once they saw Long Tian they immediately lowered their swords.

"Heaven Breaking Sect's Master Long Tian, Heaven Breaking Sect's Mistress Qin Mei, and Heaven Breaking Sect's Young Master Long Lei have arrived!" The guards announced as they bowed towards them.

"This is not necessary, just lead us to the banquet." Long Tian said as he waved his hand. "Y-Yes." A guard said with some panic. Offending these great figures could mean his death, and with their odd temperaments one never knew when they might offend them.

"Oh and Yun, be on your best behaviour." Long Tian commanded as he looked back at the snake. Hearing this Yun simply nodded, and a caretaker came, and took Yun away. Luckily for him, Yun was compliant and went off with him without a care in the world.

After this short chat, the guard soon led the family of 3 through the illustrious golden gate and down the path. They continued forward before taking a sharp left, and then a right, arriving at a banquet hall, one completely made out of pure white jade.

"The banquet is inside the Pure Jade Hall. If that is all you need I'll be off." The guard stated, trying to get away as quickly as possible. "Thank you, and take this as compensation." Long Tian said before lightly tossing an object.

After this, Long Tian walked inside without looking back, his son and wife in tow. 'What the fuck?' The guard thought in awe as he looked at the pill in the palm of his hand.

As the family entered the hall, Long Lei couldn't help but feel excited. 'Haha, its time, its time, finally I have a chance to flex my abilities!' Long Lei thought, as he looked forward to this banquet in extreme excitement.

Soon, Long Tian pushed the door forward slightly before entering. "Haha, the Heaven Breaking Sect finally decides to show up?" A voice roared across the banquet hall. "Indeed, they kept us waiting here for almost an hour, they have no class." Another voice echoed, as all eyes turned to the 3.

"According to my invitation, we arrived exactly on time, its not my problem if you all came early." Long Tian replied, as a cold aura immediately suffused from his body. Along with this, Qin Mei turned cold as well as she tugged on Long Lei's arm, pulling him close to her.

"Oh? Qin Mei, why are you being so defensive of that boy?" A softer and more shrill voice pierced through their ears. Hearing this, Long Lei wasn't offended, nor was he angered, he only felt, excited. 'Its really happening, all those clan shit heads are really acting like they do in those novels. Hohoho, this is too great!' Long Lei mused as he escaped his mother's grasp momentarily.

His vision then shot towards the 3 voices that shot through the hall. First was a man, he was quite tall standing at 2 meters tall, and looked burly, his hair was fiery red and his eyes crimson. The second man stood at about 1.84 meters tall and had short black hair, along with a proud face, his entire body exuding arrogance.

Lastly, was a woman with a heavily powdered face, she stood next to the arrogant man, she was about 1.72 meters tall, just a bit shorter than his mother.

As he looked around and was about to start walking off, his mother grasped his shoulder. "Don't walk away Lei'er." She said, as Long Lei looked at her oddly. "Why? Aren't we just at the circus?" He replied dumbfounding his mother.

Luckily no one else had heard his comment, or else she wouldn't know what to do. While this was going on, the 2 other men, shot a slew of insults toward's his father.

"Actually, according to the invite, the banquet began an hour ago. Did your Heaven Breaking Sect not receive the correct details? Well, not like you're important anyway." The arrogant man said with scorn as his eyes locked with Long Tian's.

"Gu Gang, you're always so sporadic, can you calm down for one day and enjoy the banquet?" Another man replied, he had little beady eyes, and was a bit overweight. His head was filled with brown hair and a mustache lay on top of his wide mouth.

"When did I ask for your opinion, Hou Cong?" Gu Gang said in retort, as Hou Cong simply gazed at him with one eye. "The Emperor wouldn't be too happy with the Endless Hell Sect, if one of their County Lord's caused a fuss at the princess' banquet, now would they?" Hou Cong replied as Gu Gang immediately shut up, as he felt the piercing gaze from the red haired man behind him.

"Fine." Gu Gang stated, before walking off, along with his wife. 'If she starts a fuss now, my life will be endangered.' Gu Gang contemplated as his wife was dragged along unwillingly.

After that the atmosphere within the banquet livened up, as people began to chat amongst themselves. Almost immediately after Hou Cong walked towards Long Tian jovially, as his face visibly livened up.

"Brother Tian, I haven't seen you since the kids were born." Hou Cong said happily as he looked into Long Tian's eyes deeply. "Ya its been a while Brother Cong." Long Tian replied, smilingly.

Soon Hou Cong's eyes strayed towards Long Lei as he smiled. "So I assume this is your son?" Hou Cong asked, as Long Tian nodded. "Hello I am Long Lei." Long Lei said, initiating the meeting. "Ah, hello there, I am Hou Cong, your father's lifelong friend." Hou Cong responded as he crouched down and shook Long Lei's hand.

Despite his weight he was surprisingly light on his feet. "Don't touch my son for too long, you might infect him." Qin Mei declared swiftly as she quickly shoo'd away Hou Cong's hand. "Oh you're always so mean Junior Sister Mei." Hou Cong said with fake tears in his eyes, as he took his hand back.

Soon after he got up and dusted himself off. "Anyway, I have a lot to discuss with you Brother Tian, but its best if we do so privately. Junior Sister Mei, if you wish, Lan Yi and my son Chin'er are in the side hall, if you wish to discuss with them." Hou Cong stated, as he pointed to a doorway.

Seeing this, Qin Mei simply nodded before getting up, and grabbing Long Lei's hand. "Well we'll be off then, have fun. Oh, and Long Tian, don't let him give you any ideas or I swear, you won't enjoy the outcome." Qin Mei said as she looked at her husband coldly.

"Of course don't worry, now go chat with Lan Yi." Long Tian replied, as he nodded, with a cool and calm expression on his face. On the inside it was an entirely different matter. 'I better not anger her, these days she's been a lot more angry.' Long Tian contemplated, before continuing to discuss with Hou Cong.
