Hearing the sounds of rain unceasingly drop onto the ground while feeling himself being drenched, Wei Yang couldn't help but laugh at himself believing he was dead.

"Even the heavens are taking pity on me. The rain is falling, and so am I. Fine, let the rain wash away my pain along with my tears."

As Wei Yang laid on the moist green grass, he couldn't help but sneeze as he instinctively opened his eyes.

As Wei Yang opened his eyes, he scanned his surroundings, feeling a sense of nostalgia.

Wei Yang wiped his drenched and swollen eyes from all the crying as he scanned over his surroundings once more.

Seeing the streets, tree, and the bridge that was torn down 8 years ago, he couldn't help but believe his eyes.

The bridge was a special place for him. Wei Yang had even secretly named it Connection as it not only bridged the gap between the lands, but also his heart.

Sneezing once more, Wei Yang lifted his hand to wipe his nose only to be stopped halfway.

"Wait, why has my hand become smaller?"

Taking a closer look and he realized he wasn't seeing things, Wei Yang instinctively stood up as he looked over his body.

Only then did he realize the clothes he was wearing. His clothes was something he had gotten in Highschool which printed the school name "Fu Ze High" onto it.

"What is going on?" Wei Yang couldn't help but ask out loud.

Walking over to the bridge, Wei Yang couldn't help but feel a string tugging at his heart as watched over the serene flowing water.

Being in deep in thought, he remembered that he was in the verge of dying, how did he end up here? Moreover, how did his body suddenly become smaller?

This isn't something even a big prank show could pull off, nontheless the pain he felt when he crashed into the building was nowhere near a joke.

Suddenly Wei Yang had quite a surreal thought.

"Could I have been reborn or went back in time?" Wei Yang couldn't help but shudder.

Judging from his clothes and body, this should be around the time he was starting his third year of high school.

Thinking about the time of his junior year, Wei Yang couldn't help but mockingly laugh.

This was when Wei Yang was getting bullied at school with no one he could turn to. There was a few times where he had even wanted to suicide, yet when he tried he just couldn't muster up the courage.

Soon however, that's when he met Xu Lian. The girl of his dreams. Thinking back on his highschool life, only now did he realize how much pain he had put Xu Lian in.

There were countless times where Wei Yang was struggling in school and Xu Lian would always take her time to slowly and carefully explain to Wei Yang on how to solve the problems.

Xu Lian was the smartest student in the entire school, there were even rumors that her IQ was over 160 in her senior year of highschool.

Everyone was always fighting for rights in the company which then involved her in many fights. Xu Lian was always someone who was strong on the outside but weaker on the inside. At that time Wei Yang couldn't have done anything which made him hate himself for being weak.

There we many times where Xu Lian had sacrificed herself for Wei Yang, yet Wei Yang was completely oblivious to her actions at that time.

Wei Yang stood on the bridge as rain continued pouring laughing inwardly to himself. "Xu Lian, this time let me protect you. Everything I have, everything I gain, will be yours, including my life. This time let me make the sacrifaces."

Wei Yang slowly walked back to his apartment building back in highschool and could not help but feel a sense of familiarity.

Later on, when Wei Yang had become a CEO and owned many massive mansions and villas, he had always felt lonely by himself.

Wei Yang had always learned how to live by himself ever since the 5th grade when his parents had gotten into an accident.

Turning on the lights, he took of his clothes as he walked into the shower.

While in the shower, Wei Yang tried to recall everything from his previous life which in turn led him to a conclusion. "Looks like I need to set up a capital for myself when Xu Lian fights with her family. I can't let her suffer again."

As the water continued spraying onto Wei Yang's hair, he couldn't help but tear up a bit once more. "I'm back...I really am back."

Wei Yang let out a smile he couldn't hold back. If this was in his previous life, everyone would be surprised as the CEO had been given the title by the employees of his company for having the greatest poker face.

Wei Yang's looks right now were completely disgusting because he had believed his 'friend' that the style he was wearing was the trend.

Only in college did he realize that his so called 'friend' was embarrassing himself behind the scenes. His friend Du Qiubai was always gathering up with others talking behind his back trying to embarrass Wei Yang in front of the school beauty Xu Lian

Yet Xu Lian had never cared always sticking with him.

Wei Yang expression subconsciously melted at the thought of Xu Lian.

Wei Yang had only reached the peak of the Bronze Stage because he had started late only training a few years. But because of this fact, taking a few years to hit the peak of the Bronze Stage was a talent that was never seen.

Since Wei Yang had been reborn, why shouldn't he take the time to cultivate now?

Doing a few stretches on his body, he could hear many sounds from within his bones as he shook his head. "My body really is weak and stiff..."

After the stretches, Wei Yang sat down cross-legged as he started meditating.

"Could it be because of the fact that I was at the peak of the Bronze Stage in my previous life which in stuck within' my soul?"

Sitting cross-legged once more, Wei Yang started cultivating.

Wei Yang then stood up and did a few stretches before entering the bathroom taking another shower before brushing his teeth and washing his face.

Coming out of the bathroom, Wei Yang looked at the time seeing that it was just about 6:30AM.

Seeing that it was still early, Wei Yang walked over to the refrigerator.

Seeing that the refrigerator was filled with food such as butter, eggs, bread, chives, pepper and other various ingredients, Wei Yang revealed a bright smile as he took over many ingredients.

Putting on an apron hanging off the fridge, Wei Yang pondered for a moment before washing the pan and utensils.

"Eggs Benedict!" Wei Yang decided to have something light for breakfast.

Turning on the stove, Wei Yang cracked a few eggs before pouring the yolk on the pan while shaking and flipping the eggs once in a while.

Then after a while, Wei Yang added a tablespoon of butter before whisking it together.

Creating the Benedict, Wei Yang then added a few slices of bacon as the finishing touches.

Wei Yang had always loved cooking, especially looking at the delicate and beautiful appearance food always wanting to keep it safe.

Nodding satisfyingly, Wei Yang put down the apron before washing his hands as he began eating vigrously.

After a satisfying meal, Wei Yang leaned back onto the chair as he rubbed his stomach.

Deep in thought, Wei Yang started pondering on the best way to start earning money. Being an IT in his previous life, the programs now could be considered as trash 8 years later. This goes to show how far technology had evolved.

Although Wei Yang could hack into anything he wanted to, Wei Yang still had his own principles he followed. Things like hacking into personal accounts for money was a big no-no.

That's when he decided to earn some money by logging onto a popular hacking website. Wei Yang had always loved setting up cyber security and attempting to bypass firewalls, even as a CEO. In his previous life, Wei Yang had even hacked into the Pentagon without getting caught! Things like military grade security was nothing in his eyes, much less technology 8 years in the past.

This was the perfect time to utilize his skills as many companies were facing threats of cyber attacks. Many people would want to hire professional hackers to help improve their companies security.

After pondering, Wei Yang realized that he had school in 1 hour! He wasn't the 25 year old CEO anymore, but a 17 year old kid!

After eating, Wei Yang quickly did a short jog around the neighborhood before running back to his apartment to grab his backpack.
