Chapter 44 - Maturity
Despite Bartholomew's warning, Willow believed that a conversation with Clara could change Clara's mind about him or, rather, about what he had been hired to do.
In his mind, Clara might just seem like a spoiled brat who wanted to do things her way, but he also knew that what her family had been through couldn't have been easy for her.
So Willow went to the door of the same room they had gone to before. He stopped in front of the door and waited with his hand raised, trying to hear something. But he heard nothing.
Without further ado, he tapped on the door twice. It was more than enough to be heard, as the room was silent.
"Come in." Clara said, her voice muffled because she was inside the room.
Willow touched the handle and pushed the door open, entering what was, as he now knew, Clara's practice room. It was a large room with a lot of empty space. It had large windows, which were now open to let out the smoke from before.
