Sounds Like Something

Ethan

Maybe I should have brought Belli over since she was always an excellent buffer when it came to tense situations, but today she was so grumpy I could not even take her out of the house without her screaming at the top of her lungs. I left her with Pa and Dad because I figured she probably just missed them and as soon as she was in their arms she soundly fell asleep.

She probably just decided to abandon me alone in my journey. I had wanted this therefore she was distancing herself from me.

I stared at my reflection in the sunvisor of my Ford Platinum Everest then sighed. I looked tired but the coffee would surely help with that. There was nothing I could do about it now. With a quick slip on my jacket, I climbed out of the car then headed into the small cafe.
