Ethan

"What help do you need Pa?" I asked as I came down the stairs in my 'veldskoene' and brown mid-calf socks. He sat at the dining table in the kitchen with his glasses resting on the bridge of his nose as he sat with a calculator and spreadsheets. I lifted up a pile of papers and quickly scanned through them with a frown. "Reapplying for government subsidiary?"

He nodded with a sigh, "It's a pain in the ass."

"Want me to do it for you tonight?" I smiled, "I don't mind. I can get my team to quickly set everything up. When are they coming for inspection?"

"In a few days," he yawned, "I've made sure everything is up to par and they know me extremely well. I don't know why I have to keep on doing this."

I shrugged, "No one wants to give their money away freely. So do you want help?"

"You just arrived two hours ago Ethan, rest, you have enough time to work tomorrow," he chuckled as he rested against the chair.
