Mist Village

In the endless space where darkness fills the horizon a dim light passed thousands of light years before falling on an ordinary mid-sized planet,  it passed through the dark sky without attracting anyone's attention. soon it landed on a seemingly lively village.

  Sixteen years later,

Mist Village is one of many villages on the perimeters of the high-cloud city.

What makes it special is that it is surrounded by thick mist makes it harder to find its location.

Today is a special day, and a lot of villagers surrounded a sixteen years old boy, his appearance and expression looked more mature than the children of the same age

 An old woman looked at the boy with loving eyes and said "I can't agree to this, he is still too young to go out of the village "

"Granny Luo I am not a child anymore, and the high cloud sect opens its doors every 5 years, I can't miss it " shouted the young man nervously.

 A middle-aged man wearing a grey robe  looked at granny luo and said"  Wang'er promised that he will take care of him, don't worry Granny hahaha "

  Deng Deng Deng

  A bell voice sounded through the village and An old cart pulled by two rickety donkeys walked past the village entrance. The cart ridder was a robust middle-aged man wearing a  dark robe

He pulled the donkeys by their collar ordering them to stop. got off the cart and said with a husky voice that sounded through the village " Lin boy are you ready ?? "

When the boy saw the cart, he ran to the entrance of the village with glittering eyes and shouted  "Yes Uncle Jiang I am coming "

Granny Luo walked to their side with exhausted steps and said caringly " Lin Tian remember what we taught you, don't trust anyone easily"

Lin Tian smiled and said" I will granny "

He jumped into the cart and said "Uncle Jiang let's go "

Uncle Jiang bid farewell to the villagers, mounted his cart, and ordered the two donkeys to move forward.

The cart quickly set off and moved away from the village.

 Lin Tian looked around seemingly very impatient he cleared his mouth and said " Uncle Jiang when are we going to reach the city "

Uncle Jiang looked at him for a while before laughing "Hahaha boy it's only been an hour since we left the village,  It takes 2 weeks to reach the high-cloud city "

  Lin Tian mused to himself: That long?

"We are going to rest with the Second sunset," said uncle jiang as he stared at the two suns hanging in the sky, which looked like the eyes of a giant, that follows you wherever you go

12 hours already passed since the cart left the village it's about the dusk time

  "Uncle Jiang the second sun is about to set "

  Said Lin Tian worriedly

"Okay boy get off the cart "Uncle Jiang replied as he pulled the cart collar. Then he tied the cart around a big rock on the roadside. He looked around surveying the area with his Keen eyes " That's a good place to rest "

Suddenly the ground begins to shack

Lin Tian was surprised not knowing what was happening

"There seem to be five horses coming in front of us," said Uncle Jiang

"I can't see anything," said Lin Tian as he narrowed his eyes trying to see far away

 Replied uncle Jiang" They should be arriving soon, let's hide quickly "

Soon five shadows began to emerge from the horizon. In the front, there seem to be two young ladies, each of them riding a white horse. Behind them were three black-robed men, each of them riding a black horse.

"Young miss, I will delay them. You should take the chance to escape," shouted the woman in the rear.

The other woman replied hastily, "Wan'er, don't think about it. Either we go, or we stay together."

A voice came from behind them as one of the black-robed men laughed sinisterly, "Hehehe, don't worry. We will ensure that you two will stay together forever."

"Number three, don't talk to them. Just focus on the road, you idiot," said the man in the middle in a grim voice.

"Yes, boss. Sorry, I got carried away," replied number three.

"This can't go on like that. The second sunset is around the corner. It will be dangerous from now on," said the last black-robed man.

"Don't worry, number two. They will not be able to get away from us. Hehehe," said number three laughingly.

"Uncle Jiang, it seems that the three black horses are chasing after the two white ones," said Lin Tian hastily.

Uncle Jiang didn't reply and started looking around for a while and said, "Follow me."

He walked to the middle of the road, raised his hands and began to wave them around.

"Young miss, look! Someone is waving at us in the middle of the road," said Wan'er.

"Yes, I can see him," replied the young lady as she waved her hand.

"Okay boy, follow me closely and don't take your eyes off my back," said Uncle Jiang.

Although Lin Tian had a puzzled look on his face, he still nodded.

"Let's go," said Uncle Jiang as he ran towards the forest on the side of the road.

The young lady's eyes flashed with determination when she saw this and stopped the horse and said, "Wan'er, let's head to the forest quickly."

Wan'er hesitated for a while, but she too stopped the horse and got to the ground. The two headed towards the same side as Uncle Jiang.

"Boss, look! They aren't moving anymore. Are they surrendering?" said number three as he looked at the two white horses.

The boss remained silent, but number two answered, "No, they are running to the forest."

"Courting death! It's already the second sunset, the monsters should be awakening now. Hehehe," said number three.

The boss frowned for a while and said grimly, "They would have to go to the High Cloud City eventually. We will meet them again."

"Take the two white horses with you, and let's go," ordered the boss. The other two nodded their heads, and soon their figures started to fade into the horizons.
