POWER SURGE.

In the desolate forest, a figure could be seen shuttling through the foliage at high speeds, this figure was a youth with a set of striking blue hair, the whole body was covered by a blue colored set of armor, he wielded a pair of blue colored short swords, he was charging at something, this youth was naturally Aiden, he had pushed himself to a limit for the past two months and now stood at a peak of silver rank and to consolidate his realm, he was going to challenge a newly ascended gold rank beast, the easiest way to identify one was by their unstable aura. This beast was also charging madly towards Aiden, a pitch black colored feline with a pair of scarlet eyes, occasionally red colored lightning would sizzle from its gem-like eyes.

Box, the ground split apart as even space itself rattled, as Aiden's short swords and feline's claws clashed, what audacious fool, the instant Aiden entered into its territory it was already charging towards him as it was already pissed off enough for one day, some crazy wolf had come over with intention of taking it's territory, luckily enough the feline had managed to defeat the wolf bully and sent it running, albeit with a few injuries.

Suddenly feline grimaced as its previous wounds started opening up and blood kept pooling out like a fountain, weirdly enough the blood didn't pour to the ground but congealed and turned into sharps scalpels as they made their way back into the feline's body with Aiden's control, causing even bigger injuries to the feline and making it scream in pure agony as it lost it sense of decorum.

Booooooooooooooooooom, it's aura exploded as it went berserk, space shook as even Aiden felt his air standing on ends as black lightning flickered and merged with the red lightning in the feline's eye creating a scene of deathly combination, this brought a sense of apprehension to Aiden but he steeled his resolve and kept turning the blood of the feline into various weapon to assault it, seeing that it couldn't move as fast as it wanted due to it's damaging body, it resulted into breathing out bolts of lightning each as big as a burly man's arm, seeing this Aiden had to keep dodging around while doing his best to prevent the feline from moving it's body, as he knew a single mistake could end his life, he hadn't reach a point where he could regenerate from a from of blood, thus Aiden could be seen waving his hands maniacally in the air mounting a few words, the heated battle seems to be coming to an end but Aiden was not spared either, his armor had cracks all over even his short swords broken, as for the feline it seemed to be on it's last breath as it's breathing had become ragged likewise Aiden, the blood arcana in his heart was depleting faster than he could recover, compared to other who wielded several elements he didn't need to meditate nor eat like others do, all he needed was to either ingest blood or wait for his energy to regenerate naturally.

Suddenly the feline charged up a bigger bolt of lightning as thick as a tree trunk, meanwhile, Aiden simply clenched his fists tightly as veins protruded like crisscrossing tree roots with all his might he was urging the beast's heart where the arcana core resided to exploded, boooooooooooooom the feline had gone all out and naturally open its defenses as Aiden seized the opportunity to implode the heart of the beast as Aiden commanded the heart and arcana core with every single drop of blood the feline's body to charge out of it's chest straight into his waiting hands.

The instant he grabbed it Aiden disappeared on the spot, as he turned into a blue streak, he quickly vanished into the bushes as he was hurriedly using his blood to create a new teleportation rune, he knew this fight had most likely attracted the presence of a few gold rank powerhouses, thus he couldn't afford to wait for a second, whoosh, the teleportation rune activated as Aiden truly vanished.

A few seconds later a blue-colored lightning wolf could be seen sniffing the air with frustration etched on its muzzled face, this was its no 1 enemy for crying out loud, such galls to go ahead and wipe out its entire clan, no it had to catch that human brat and make him pay, of course by eating him as slow as possible.

Aiden was happy as he was teleported to the outskirts of the desolate forest but with a price he had used the last bit of blood arcana for teleportation, thus he couldn't even stand properly, he kept gasping for air while struggling to keep himself from falling all his life he never had to face arcana deficiency, a few moments later he could finally stand to his feet to survey his surrounding luckily he could feel the presence of weak human and beasts alike, with a stamp of his feet he appeared a few kilometers away, even without blood arcana he was still plenty strong, he went in search of a silent place so he could use the chance to examine his body.

A few moments later Aiden arrived at a decrepit-looking cave abode, he found a bronze rank ape-like beast but he sent it running with a stare, sitting cross-legged he took a deep breath as he brought out a still beating heart filled with lightning arcs, normally arcanists would instantly swallow the heart of a slain beast to increase their strength even if by a small margin likewise the beast as the heart stored arcana as well as blood rich in vitality, but they could never get everything, most times the blood and arcana energy will quickly start merging with the atmosphere, but Aiden forcefully compressed everything, blood and arcana, with a gulp he swallowed it.
