Chapter 61 Dark Forest(8)

The beast was swimming through the shadows fast and I knew I had to do something to slow it down. I poured my mana into [Dark Claw] and created spikes made of darkness mid air and shot them at the incoming beast. The beast sensed the spikes coming and dodged them but it couldn't dodge them all. One of the spikes, carefully guided by me, managed to hit the snake and I could swear I heard it's painful roar even though it was still inside the shadows. The snake jumped out of the shadows and glared at me and I could feel my shadow stir a bit but it quickly calmed down. The serpent then roared and slithered towards me and as it it did I noted that one of it's scales were broken from the darkness spike before I started running in the opposite direction.

The serpent chased after me furiously and it was gaining on me by the minute and what was worse was that it kept attacking me with small shadow snakes.
