Chapter 52 The Dark Forest

After the fight I left the ox in the grassland to rest. I continued to make my way towards the Dark Forest and on the way I ran into a lot of F rank beasts including more oxen. But I avoided them all, it just felt boring to fight beasts I can easily kill. This continued until I reached the Dark Forest. The forest was shrouded in a darkness visible from the outside and even some of the grass on the outside have even turned black attesting to the amount of mana I could feel radiating from the forest. The mana radiating from the Dark Forest felt different from the one I felt from the forest near Mountmend. The one near Mountmend felt pure and I could instinctively tell that it was pure mana being radiated from the forest. But this one felt dark, cold and hungry like it was waiting to devour any unlucky prey who dared to enter.
