Chapter 43 Second Quest(5)

The bear charged at Alex with murderous eyes but Alex wasn't afraid he ran at the bear full speed, jumped over it's horizontal claw strike and then swung his sword down unto it's back.

*Clang*

'Wha....' Before he could finish forming that thought a claw strike sent him flying but luckily the [Ice Blessing] blocked the strike.

Gathering himself, Alex was stunned that his blade didn't manage to pierce through the bears aura but was deflected. Thinking quickly he tried to come up with a solution but the bear didn't give him time as it charged at him with murderous fury. But just because he didn't have a plan that didn't he wasn't going to attack. And thus began a furious clash of man and beast of steel vs claws but curiously neither opponent were injured during their furious clash but Alex did notice something.
