Alex continued to fight the monster or more accurately he continued getting thrashed by the monster and getting back up for more, but unlike before this time he had a plan. He slowly expanded his shadow throughout the monster's [Shadow Zone], trying not to let the monster notice and it didn't. Alex continued battling the monster all the while spreading his influence throughout the [Shadow Zone] and soon it was time to enact his plan. Suddenly, the monster felt it's influence over the [Shadow Zone] waning and it immediately knew who the culprit was and tried to regain control of the [Shadow Zone]. Suddenly the [Shadow Zone] started to churn and boil as the two shadow users battled for dominance while also clashing against each other.
