Chapter 116 A fierce battle

Soon after everyone managed to purchase the [Night Vision] skill, the insectoid foot soldiers, the monster Lisa killed, lunged from the darkness towards the small group. Thanks to their newly acquired skill the group wasn't surprised by the monsters attempted ambush and instead were prepared. What followed was a brutal and long battle for survival by the group and what made it even harder, was the forest itself. The thick darkness mana in the forest didn't just impair their attacks but also their Grace abilities as well. While most of their Grace abilities worked just fine, the grace abilities of Alex, Lisa, Marcus and Rosa were impaired severely with Alex and Lisa barely able to use their shadows, Marcus could only use his Grace ability where there was a lot of light and the power of Rosa's flames were reduced.

Even with these impairments, the group fought tooth and nail with the insectoid foot soldiers and came out victorious. Albeit with a lot of injuries.
