Chapter 100 Quest: Annihalate the Shadow hordes(3)

As soon as I appeared beside the girls I stabbed my sword in the ground and activated the [Soul Burst] enchantment of encircling us in a wall of blue flames and the imps immediately backed off sensing the danger that the flames posed.

"What's going on?" I asked Lisa.

"I think they were poisoned....the shadow imp's claws h-had a strange purple liquid on their claws but they never scratched them so I don't know how they.... are they gonna...d-die." Lisa looked like she was on the verge of crying.

"Don't worry everything's going to be fine." I said to her and patted her head reassuringly.

'If my guess is correct then that poison only paralyzes those it infects so it should wear off if we wait long enough or we could try giving them a lesser elixir later. My armour protects me from shadow poisons so I'll be fine but the girls won't be.' I thought as I formulated a plan.
