I never expected Belphegor to retaliate with such force. He summoned the mother thurars, a cosmic entity, and to my surprise, he transferred his consciousness to it. The thurar's only weakness is intelligence, and with Belphegor at its helm, it became an even greater threat.

As he moved his first tentacle, the fabric of space itself seemed to warp around it. Anyone or anything that it touched may disappear or become forgotten forever - a concept, a story, a person, an idea, a soul, even a letter. It was a terrifying sight to behold.

But that was Belphegor; he fulfilled his intended role. He stood there, commanding the transformation of half of Chamenopolis into Thurars under the authority of the mother thurars. However, these Thurars were different from the previous invasion. They were originally blessed individuals, possessing powerful abilities that now manifested within the cosmic form of the corrupted Thurars.
