Earth Shattering Discovery

Laying in the bath, Kara had her head rested on my chest and one of her hands gently holding my still raging dragon. "hnhn, I love you so much Alder. I don't know how I'll sleep at night when were in the sect"

Putting my hand on her cheek and looking into Her deep red eyes. "don't worry, I'll become an inner sect disciple as soon as I can. We can see each other every day still, lets enjoy all our time together before we arrive."

"Yeah, I won't let you leave my side for a second. Got it?"

"Naturally, you couldn't get me to leave your side even if you tried" I pecked her on the forehead and then went in for a deep kiss.

Her hand moved a bit more vigorously before she broke away and brought her lips down to kiss my rod, she kissed it gently a few times before caressing with her warm tung. "Looks like I was right, Hehe"

I raised my eyebrow. "right about what exactly?"

"right about the ascending rank tortoise stew, with how potent it is, I'll be able to drain you tonight to my heart's content." Kara finally came clean to Alder; however, her expression was anything but apologetic as she joyfully played with his member.

"I think your underestimating me" picking up kara and taking her from the bath, he silently grabbed two towels to dry off with before once again throwing Kara on the bed. "with the regeneration you'd already have a rough time tiring me out. You just gave me the advantage. Get ready because I'm not giving you any breaks tonight"

Kara gulped in anticipation when she saw Alders dead locked gaze.

She wasn't one to back down from a fight, especially not one she herself wanted "and you shouldn't underestimate a disciple of the wrapped wing's sect, come, by the time I'm done with you your dragon won't be standing so proudly!

Thus started a night of intense battle between the two.

The next morning, the first rays of sun shone down thru the curtains slit on two naked bodies resting on a thrashed bed. A strong smell on cultivation filled the room as they awoke.

"Its time to head out now, right Kara? Looks like we managed to get around two hours of sleep"

Kara in her small spoon position nodded before turning to wrap Alder in her arms."mhmm…let's stay like this for a bit first"

After a few minutes we got up and helped each other dress. Kara holding my arm we made our way down and retuned the room key.

"Thank you for your stay, we look forward to any future patronage."

Making it to the still bustling vendor street.

"so what do we need to stock up on for the ride?"

Kara led me towards the end of the street. "We just need 3-4 days' worth of travel rations and water; we'll use it right away so we can get some better but more perishable food."

"Sounds good, buy the way, do you have a weapon on you? Seeing these stalls I was thinking I should get one"

"No, I don't carry any weapons in particular. I'm talented in illusion spells so I could escape most dangerous situations. That and if I was fighting low level beasts or get in a fight I know some offensive water spells"

"oh? You'll have to show them to me! Damn it's only been a day after all; I still have a lot to discover about you." I held her tighter to my side.

"hmhm…don't worry, we have all the time in the world, right?"

"Absolutely"

"oh you mentioned getting a weapon? I'd wait until you get to the sect. Dimfront may have some good weapon venders, but it's nothing compared to the weapons you can get in the sect's armory. Although the cost difference is night and day"

We made our way to a stall with water bladders and took 4 each. The town had wells, so we just drew water there.

Kara's face froze shocked when I stored them in my spatial pouch. Apparently when I took the crystal out earlier, she thought it was just a regular pouch, she told me she's only ever seen a few sect elders carry them. The sect's matriarch has a storage ring ('something I already want dearly as I don't care how impressive this pouch looks to others, the image of a fanny pack from my last world is ingrained into my soul at this point as an absolute no go!') anyway… the sect's patriarch has been MIA for years now and no one's filled the position.

Kara let me know that having two sect leaders is an oddity that's only done in dual cultivation sects.

Stopping at a food stall Kara asked for bread, jerky, and some fruits. This time I was the one with an expression of shock. The vendor was giant standing near 7 foot tall, but it wasn't the height that got me. His face was entirely covered with brown fur same for his forearms. He had large, pointed wolf ears and k9's that rivaled mine in my bloodline sharing mode. He was a brown wolf man!

'Holy shit, dose this mean what I think it means?'

While we made our way to the opposite side of the town from the forest to rent a carriage a ride from a convoy, I asked Kara.

"Hey babe, how common are folk like that wolf man here?"

"Why do you ask? Brown wolf kin are probably one of the most common types of demi human in Alvis, Are they rare from where you're from?"

"Rare? Yeah, extremely so you could say…what races are common here in Alvis anyway?"

Although looking a bit curious why I'd ask, Kara filled me in. 'I guess questioning the common knowledge of this world like that is bound to throw people off, I'm glad I have Kara to reline on for stuff like this.
