Without a second thought, she flew over and put her hands into the mud to pull him up. However, she did not retrieve anything except a handful of muddy water.
Her hands were empty, and her face changed. Did he escape from her dream? Or had he sunk to the bottom?
Her brain buzzed, and she almost lost her balance. She did hate him, but she could not see him die. She could not imagine that he would die because of her.
She calmed herself and took a deep breath before she shouted, "I decide my dream! If he has fallen into it, please make him come up!"
After a moment, bubbles were forming in the swamp, and soon after, Di Fuyi's head slowly appeared. His eyes were closed and he was not sure if he was dead or alive.
