Mermaid’s Tears (2)

The mermaid kept her confined within a water ball in the underground and only pulled her back to the surface right before she was about to suffocate to death. Before she could even take a few deep breaths, she was again drawn back down to the bottom of the underground again. 

All the while Lan Waiu begged her and scolded her, but that mermaid appeared to be oblivious; she was like a lifeless robot dragging her all the way here.

It was only when they reached here that Lan Waihu could finally breathe properly, but she was put through a series of torturous events now. The people here did not wait to protrude her humerus and hang her in the air, not knowing the reason why they were even doing so. However, the mermaid was not treated well either. After coming here, she was trapped in the bloody pond, unable to free herself.
