ONE FOR EACH OTHER

When they returned to the bunker, they were administered an anti-inflammatory to improve the symptoms of their injured ears. Evander stayed in the infirmary until he was finally able to have a private moment with them. Ocean was the first to open her eyes while Zev was still sleeping.

"Zev is the traveler," she muttered.

She told him how she found out with everything and details, Evander thought it was very curious although deep down he was calm because although he didn't want to admit it, he was afraid that Zev would take Ocean away from him. After talking for a while, Commander Kylen wanted to talk to Evander alone, so they agreed not to say anything about the traveler until they came up with a plan.

The boy went to Kylen's office to give his statement about what happened. He offered him a cup of coffee which he gladly accepted and they began to talk.

"From all this I deduce that Jolene will continue using the girl's loop in the surrounding regions of the community to find the location of the possible traveler, fortunately she stopped in time otherwise Ocean and Zev would have a worse time," he remained firm.

"How about we do the same?" He put his hands in a triangle as he leaned back in his reclining chair.

"Talk about using one of our loops, right?" Evander asked.

"Yes," he drank coffee.

Evander was nervous but he tried to hide it, he moved his fingers slowly brushing the cup but then his body language changed and he looked more relaxed.

"If it doesn't work, you will deactivate them, just as Barrett did."

The boy bit his lip on the inside.

"Barret says that someone deactivated his, when they passed by, he used it believing that you were enemies of the Community and he caught you but to be honest I don't believe him."

Evander didn't comment, he devoted himself to listening to everything the commander had to say.

"Was there anyone suspicious near you?"

"Not really," he leaned back in his chair.

"That proves my theory that Barret stopped his own loop and just wanted to scare you, that day they all looked very confused," he gave a genuine laugh.

The tension Evander felt eased when Kylen started laughing, his stress melting away and he could now enjoy a relaxed chat.

"I think that if Ocean or I use our loops it can be dangerous, if the wrong people fall, like Luna or Milo, even Zev, it could be disastrous, I suggest we better do something different."

"I'm listening," he was interested.

"When Jolene and her men go looking for the traveler, we will have to infiltrate their facilities, gather all the information possible about them, even the reinforcements know very little about what is hidden there," he looked at him fixedly. "It is risky but we will get a lot of advantage, of course without neglecting our goal of catching the traveler, I'm sure if she finds him first she's going to kill him and then we can't do anything about it, she's going to create a world worse than the one we have now."

"What you say is very true, we can't sit idly by," he pointed out, "it seems like a good idea to me, let me discuss it with the pillow and tomorrow morning I'll have an answer for you."

Evander left the office and went looking for Ocean in the infirmary, she was feeling better so together they went to her room while Luna, who had already healed, approached Zev.

"Milo told me everything."

Zev laughed, he didn't know what to say.

"I'm glad you're okay," she smiled happily.

Luna's attitude reminded her of Ocean from her dimension but he was aware that it wasn't her.

"If Ocean doesn't listen to you, I can do it," she joined her hands in a shy gesture.

Zev was surprised. Luna was physically beautiful but she just wasn't Ocean. He gently turned her down, which she took kindly.

"Ouch…" she let him rest.

Meanwhile, Evander told Ocean about Barret, they would have to think about how to deal with him if he asked how they got out of their loop but she suggested to ignore it, if he asked they would say that neither Zev nor her got out of the infinite sound loop, that way his suspicions would be passed on to someone else, which in itself was a lot of risk.

"Let's not think about that anymore," she laughed nervously.

"I worried a lot about you," he said, moving from her side of the bed, "I know you asked me to go alone but I couldn't help but go after you, especially because of Zev."

"It was a tricky plan, I wanted to check my suspicions that he was the traveler."

"Well, it worked but I was still worried, I was about to kill everyone."

"Would you really?" She cupped his face with both hands with a touch of softness.

"I would get rid of everything earthly to save you, only you are worth it."

Evander had achieved what no one else for the first time in a long time, made a woman like Ocean blush. She was moved by those words so she approached slowly, she joined her lips with his to join in a soft kiss.

"Mmm, ahhh," he moaned as he felt her texture.

He wished that this moment would last forever, that nothing would stop it, he even asked that there be a loop where he could be with her kissing all the time. Soon the intensity of the kiss made them heat up, Ocean's scorching flames longed to conquer Evander's atmosphere, she mounted on his hips and with light movements began to provoke his awakening.

She broke away from his lips to kiss his neck and slowly move down to his torso.

"Don't go so slow, Ocean," he whispered, ripping off her blouse with a single yank.

The girl gave him a leering look, ripped off his shirt and roughly kissed his naked torso, leaving small marks on his skin, just like him. They soon took off their clothes because their bodies already wanted to dance together. Evander covered her mouth to prevent the sound of her moans from being heard by others while he controlled the intensity of his own growls.

"I love you," Evander pronounced as he felt the sway of her hips.

She smiled with her eyes and increased the intensity of her movement.

"Come here," he told her as he carried her in his arms.

He took her to the shower, opened the faucet and the warm water fell on them, he leaned her against the wall causing her back to arch due to the change in temperature of her breasts, then he charged her to the rhythm in which the drops fell.

It was so hot that the water evaporated just by touching both skins. Once again they brought their lips together to declare their love in a more ardent and passionate kiss than the previous one.

"Tell me you want more," he said in his ear, giving him a small bite, "ask me to be more rude."

"More…" she shrieked, wrapped in pleasure.

He didn't hold back his desire, he wasn't going to stop until she was satisfied.

"Ahhh," she moaned so loud that she finished on the spot.

That seemed very exciting to Evander, so much so that he also ended up impregnating his girl's back with his shower of masculinity. They refreshed their bodies with the water from the shower, cleaned themselves up and finished the shower.

They returned to the room and sealed the night with a quiet kiss.

The next day, Kylen brought them together to tell them that they were going to infiltrate the Community to get information but that mission would be specifically for a few soldiers, him and Ronda.

"I want to go," said Ocean.

"That would be exposing yourself too much," he replied.

"Maybe but the easiest access according to the map is through the containment zone, there's no way they're going to get out of there alive, they'll need me."

Kylen was slow to decide but he accepted Ocean's company on the mission and without any further objection they had to enlist, the others would have to go out to watch the meeting points of Jolene's men.

"Today it's hot, why are you so covered up?" Ronda asked directly to Ocean and Evander.

"It's not hot," Ocean said in her defense.

"You fucked, right?" Always so direct.

They both blushed making gestures to the brunette with their eyes while she subtly mocked to finish by telling them that she envied them, at least they could afford that luxury.

"Good envy, huh."

Zev heard those comments but he acted strong, feigned disinterest in that banal conversation and left there, Luna followed him.

"Be careful," Evander hugged her, "I'll be waiting for you."

They both walked in different directions with the promise that they would meet again.
