"Am I not supposed to just search for the person's cell phone number?" Jun Zeye asked. When he saw how they added each other to their WeChat, they would always ask for the other party's cell phone number, so he presumed that was how they add friends.
Ning Ruyan said, "Most of them use cell phone numbers, but some people don't register with cell phone numbers, so of course you can't find their cell phone number. Didn't you ask for the other party's WeChat ID?"
