Testing Skills

He woke up at 7:00 like every other day and did morning duties for the start, once he was done he headed to the monster forest to test out the new skills he had gotten, when he got their he spent 5 minutes looking for a scaled lizard, he was planning to test them out on multiple lizards while absorbing their souls to get stronger, but eventually he would have to go after higher level monsters because the pace of his cultivation would get slower if he kept absorbing souls of monsters weaker than him, he had to get souls of equal strength or higher to keep the same pace, once he spotted a lizard he wasted no time and sprinted to attack, the lizard spotted him and also got its guard ready, the first set of skills he was planning to use was [soul strikes], he quickly got out his scythe and started mimicking the correct moves that fit the attack area he would do, the lizard sliced at him in a horizontal way, he ducked down and sliced at the lizard in a diagonal way, it put a wound on its belly that started leaking blood, the scythe never failed him it was super sharp so he never had a hard time damaging monsters, the monster was on its guard even more from that attack and backed away from him while keeping its tail up.

Since it was on the defensive this gave Akuma the advantage too attack more openly, he rushed and sent a vertical attack striking down to the lizard, the he did a horizontal attack right after, these two attacks had cut of the lizards tail which was the main source for its defense, although it had scales too protect it self it wasn't as good as its tail, the lizard panicked before going in to bite at him, Akuma leaped up and thought, this is the perfect chance to use a new skill, so he used the skill [Soul Fire Shot], it went towards the lizard at a high speed and made reached him, just like the description said it didn't do physical damage to it but it was almost like it went through its body and disappeared as soon as it went fully threw him, the lizard made a agonizing scream like it was being burnt from the inside, no blood was seen though, since it didn't have enough power or intelligence it couldn't protect its soul, he doubted if the lizard even knew it had one, Akuma was almost the worse enemy for non intelligent creatures

It kept screaming for 6 seconds before it stopped, it was shaking non stop and it started to look like it was weakening, Akuma then used [Soul Strikes] and made a vertical slash at it that finished it off for good, He then walked towards the body and placed his hand on it do absorb its destroyed soul, after he did he got a boost of power in night and day cultivation, In body and strength he had reached the second level of [Soul Bone Formation], and in Soul and Mind he also reached the second level of [Soul Core Formation], he felt refreshed after that but he didn't waste any more time, he went searching again for another scaled lizard… 7 minutes after he found one eating the carcasses of a Fire bear, Once he made sure its guard was down he did a sneak attack using the new skill [Soul Claws], It had hit directly at its soul and it was screaming just like the last one, he put more Qi into this attack he wanted to see if he could finish it off with 1 attack, a minute later the screaming had stopped and its body fell on the floor with no sign of life, he though if i could get stronger and absorb stronger souls i would gain power even faster, he walked to its body and absorbed its soul, just like before he reached a new level of strength again, [Soul Bone Formation] had reached the 3rd layer and so did [Soul Core Formation], he was satisfied with this huge boost of power and was about to walk away when he remembered the Fire bear it was eating, he turned back around and went to its ravaged body, he didn't know where to place his hand so he just put it on top of its head, he thought could i absorb the souls of things i didn't kill?, he had tried and he could, he absorbed it, although he didn't break through to the next layer he felt like he was about to if he killed another monster

…For the rest of the dat he kept fighting whatever monster that he came across, he stoped around 9:00 because he wanted to cultivate at night for a little, when he stoped his night cultivation reached the 5th layer of [Soul Core Formation] and day also reached the 5th layer of [Soul Bone Formation], he went home and did the usual night necessities and went to his backyard and started cultivating, Qi started too flow inside his consciousness endlessly, he kept going until 12:00 at night, his Soul and Mind cultivation reached the 7th layer of [Soul Core Formation] and he was about to break through to the 8th, but he was tired and decided to sleep the rest of the night until tomorrow, while he was laying down he though, this lower world is starting to become useless all the monsters on this planet aren't going to be strong enough for me to reach a higher power, i estimate when i reach the third stage of both night and day cultivation that will be my limit for this planet, he thought but how would i reached a stronger planet with stronger people and stronger monsters?, he worried about that but thinking too much about it would only ruin his cultivation whenever he would so he decided to sleep and once he reached that power he would try to figure it out.

…Outside his house up in the air the same being that was their the first time that had white hair was levitating for from his house looking at it and said…soon i will have to take you out of this planet and bring you to ours… and apply you into the academy.. i hope you wont make this hard for me.. he disappeared without a trace again, back in Akuma house he had finally gone to sleep, he however had no idea that his future would be filled with terror and killing, and betrayal, but that was all in the future, so he fell sound a sleep waiting for tomorrow's events…
