Ch 2 ᴅɪᴠᴏʀᴄᴇ ᴀɢʀᴇᴇᴍᴇɴᴛ

Maverick Gallen 's gaze grew colder and full of disgust as he stared at Etherel "Eris drop your act... If you think this trick will stop me from getting divorce with you, then trust me! It won't work!!". Maveric thought ' this woman act as if she has amnesia?? Probably she is doing this to stall time to prevent getting divorce with me. She hasn't learned her lessons no matter how much I already show that I don't care about her'. Etherel looked at this unfamiliar man in front of her as if he is a madman ' who is Eris? Divorce?? Which reality did I entered ?? because this is definitely not what I wrote in the note '. frowning slightly, Etherel tried to process her current situation. Maverick saw her didn't respond and instead look at him in a strange way '. He scoffed "if you really want to act then I can make you an actor as long as you divorced me as soon as possible"

Etherel looked at the man in front of her but before she could speak a woman came into the room. Victoria Parker walks over to maverick's side and intimately holds his hand then she whispered something to his ear. Maverick turned his eyes on her, his mood slowly relaxes.

Etherel watched the sweet pair with amusement she thought

' huh? both of them are sweet?? Is she the mistress??' The more she thought about it, the more she finds it amusing.

Maverick keeps looking at Victoria with soft gaze and a slight smile appear in his face. Victoria turns to look at Etherel and spoke in a pleading tone " Eris I think it is best for you and Maverick get divorced. Both of you guys were stuck in a loveless marriage, if this continues on then you guys will only ended up torturing each other "

Etherel looked at Victoria, she thought ' looks like I fell into a world that is based on romance drama, I remember Osiris handed me one of tragic romance books lately. I found them all amusing since they turn a reader's emotion in a roller coaster'.

Seeing her silence Maverick thought ' did she became mute?? It seems like she is not reacting to Victoria...she is making me difficult to get rid of her… I need to push her into agreeing to get divorced with me!' Maverick turned to Victoria and held her hand tighter to show it to Ether. He looked at her coldly and spoke seriously " I already love someone else…. remember our deal? If I don't fall for you after 4 years and fall for someone else then that means that we're getting divorced". The room was silent...

Just as Victoria about to take it far by planning in kissing Maverick in order for Eris break down, she suddenly heard a soft laugh. Both Maverick and Victoria got as stunned as they realized Eris was laughing'. Maverick frowned slightly as he thought ' what is she laughing on about ??'.

Etherel looked at them both and smiled "sure we can get divorced now " she then took the paper from the hand of Victoria. Both Maverick and Victoria felt shocked at her sudden agreement. Maverick icy gaze looked at her and scoffed " you better be true to your words... this better not be another trick of 'playing hard to get' just like what you did last time " Etherel scoffed deep in her heart and thought ' this man thinks too highly of himself… He is disgusting. I guess his good physical genes turned into waste '. She then turned to sign the papers but then stopped as she felt herself having a headache...Eris Reinheart…. Out of nowhere Etherel managed to think of a name…. she thought deeply ' they kept calling me Eris? Is this my name in this reality???' without hesitation Etherel signed up the divorce papers with her name

Maverick watched her sign the divorce papers quickly…he doesn't seem to not know what he should feel at that moment. Etherel look at him and spoke in a polite tone, as if he is just some stranger and not her husband. " Can you ask someone to assist me in packing up all my stuff ???" Maverick felt more surprised and manage to spoke in a doubtful tone "you're going to move out right now? Today?? Where will you stay after moving out?" Etherel looked at him and calmly spoke " I'll find my own home after moving out today. Since he both decided to get Divorce, I know it is improper for me as your soon to be ex-wife will keep staying here at the same roof with you". Witnessing her calm reaction and polite smile somehow makes him feel uncomfortable and confuse.

Since Etherel was still unfamiliar with the reality she got transferred and at the same time her current identity which still remains unknown. She decided to stay out of trouble with anyone for a mean time. After maverick and Victoria left the room, she let her curiosity wonder about her current location. She went to explore the mansion. The first location she explores is the bathroom, then follows the hallway and living room, then proceeds in the kitchen and library. Etherel's eyes are full of admiration when She explores the huge mansion as if she had discovered a new world. When she went in the kitchen and saw a door that leads to what it seems like a garden, she walked in and saw a roof with what she thought of it as 'clear crystals' which in other words it is glass. She continued to look around and saw different types of flowers.

Unlike the first reality she shifted in which is her actual desired reality. she suddenly felt odd 'the flowers i saw in my first reality are roses…. However what i see right now isn't roses. There are butterflies but they're yellow and white… the design of the " garden" is quite different too… isn't it supposed to be outdoor?'

Esther never knew that she isn't in a garden, it was a greenhouse instead. she has no idea that she did shift in the same reality except different location from her specific one. Which means this was the second time she successfully manages to shift into the same reality yet different location. Unfortunately, she wasn't aware of that yet.

After a while Ethrel went back inside the mansion and found her luggage already prepared by Maverick's assistant "Ms. Eris your luggage has already packed". As two heard Colton's words, they walked over them. Calia Gallen heard the Miracle news about Eris finally willing to let go of her son. For all years she had waited for Eris agreeing to divorce Maverick. She looked at Colton and asked accusingly " you should made sure she hasn't put anything suspicious on her bag, right?? In case if something is stolen or one of her dangerous weapons are there?? Just in case if she tried to ever harm the Gallen family because she didn't get what she wanted from my son?". Colton looked at her and responded " me and the head-maid have packed up all her belongings and find none of any suspicious items, not even any property of the Gallen family, so be rest assured Madam Calia. Etherel catches the wary eyes of Calia towards her.

"It is good that you finally let go of my son, I can now be rest assured. I hope that you won't have Any hard feelings if Victoria and My son maverick will marry soon." Clia look at her with warning gaze.

Etherel smile awkwardly as she thought deeply in her heart ' oh please, I am not that desperate to cling onto someone who has another woman. Although I don't know the reason why you guys despise Eris. I already felt that she suffered for years after marrying that guy'. Etherel change her smile politely and responded "don't worry, I won't disturb the Gallen family since I finally lost interest in a loveless marriage." After speaking her farewell, she left everything about the Gallen family behind. She smiled and inhale before exhaling as she thought ' Now that I have manage to stay away from my first trouble. I will have no choice but to find a safe shelter somewhere'

[ In The Gallen's mansion: 3:00pm in the afternoon]

Maverick just finished his paper works and company meeting online in his study room. He walked to his room which was 3 steps away from Eris's room. He noticed a slim shadow from Eris's room and thought sarcastically 'hah…. She hasn't left yet? I knew it! She is playing "hard to get again" '. Maverick went in Eris's room and founded a different woman instead " Victoria?? What are you doing in here?" Victoria turned to him " oh, it's just that auntie Calia has asked me to move into this place for the 4 of us to spend time."

Maverick noticed the room empty, leaving only the closet and bed left. ' She actually left?' he thought, and somehow felt more confused and slightly uncomfortable by the sudden change. Victoria noticed his gaze wandering around the room. She thought that he must be wondering if Eris stole anything from the house so she spoke " don't worry, the head maid and Colton packed up all her stuff Earlier ago and found no suspicious object or any property that belonged in the Gallen family."

Maverick felt slightly surprised as he saw the clothes, he gave to Eris was left inside the closet.

" This all belongs to her? Did she forget about this?" Victoria turned to look at where is gaze landed and responded "she refuse to take anything that was brought by the Gallen family's money, she only took her backpack that has her personal information inside and also her laptop, according to Colton " Maverick frowned slightly and thought ' how can she leave without anything???? Where will she even go???' Maverick walked out of the room and went to Find his assistant Colton. He entered the library where he always finds him reading books related to history. Maverick turned to him and ask " what time did she left???" Colton put his book down as soon as he heard his boss's deep cold voice. He responded " Ms. Eris already left this morning around 9:30 am." Maverick turned to looked at him, with a serious expression he asked " what is your opinion about Eris?? What do you think is her plan this time ????"

Colton thought deeply about it yet find no answers to tell Maverick. Maverick sensed his silence and understood that even Colton didn't know what Eris was planning. He grabs a glass of red wine and drank….' Eris what are you up to?? ' He silently tried to figure out in his head.

Meanwhile Etherel was wandering in the streets. She felt slightly scared due to the unfamiliar surroundings she was I, but at the same time she is also amazed by the moving cars and seeing houses made from Bricks. Etherel thought back about her home and compared it with her current world 'The materials made our house from was wood yet in this world they seem to have a natural strong house made of stones. I also noticed people here have small magic mirrors to communicate, however communication seems not only to be the use of that magical device ' Etherel thought as she saw some young boy playing games in his self-phone. The young boy saw a pretty lady keep watching him as he played games in his phone so he handed her his phone, then asked " do you want to play???"

Etherel looked at the cute golden hair boy holding up to her his tiny little magic mirror. The boy reminded her about his little brother Lucas in the Past life. she smiled and took the tiny magic mirror the boy offered her, she stared at the screen and felt confused seeing many tiny square-like things in her screen. The little boy teaches her how he plays the game. Etherel's confusion turn into passion as she played with the game that has tiny relic puzzle for her to complete.

Suddenly a voice called out " Izan Dwight, where are you!!?" A man wearing a dark navy-blue suit was looking for his niece. The little boy heard his uncle called out and waved at him " over here!! Uncle Noah!!" his tiny voice spoke.

Noah Dwight quickly walked over to the direction of where the voice of his niece come from, he found his niece with some young lady by his side. Noah looked at them then noticed little Izan's phone was in the young woman's hands, playing a game of puzzle. He shot a questioning look at his niece, which Izan responded " Uncle Noah, i am sorry for I running away again!! What was because there seems to be a lot of signals here outside! It allowed me to play a game online using my data" Noah sighed and spoke " You will get in Trouble if your father found out that you went outside the company! And even talked to strangers!!" he turned to look at the young lady beside his niece. Etherel was busy playing games until she suddenly felt a headache...

[Thud!!]

Both the young boy and Noah got shocked as they saw the young woman fainted. Izan quickly ran back to her side and tried to wake her up " Pretty lady!! What happened! ???" Noah walked in a hurry to his niece's side then check Etherel's pulse, he noticed her skin burning hot ' she must be having a fever!!? But why did she faint?' Noah took Etherel in his arms and rushed her inside his car. Noah looked at his assistant and spoke " Drive to the hospital! Now!!"
