Encounter: The Rising of Luna

Eratonium, the most precious and powerful stone of the whole realm finally chooses its owner, a young eighteen-year-old werewolf girl who doesn't know anything about it and the evil world revolving around her. She has to find her rightful mate on her own and crack the mystery of her pack's destruction and her parent's disappearance. This is the story of her journey from being the weakest to the strongest Luna, her journey of falling, betrayals finding her rightful mate, and being able to protect the werewolf world. Disclaimer: This is a werewolf story but also has a lot of magic involved in it. As this is fantasy story, I would request readers not to search for facts. It's solely the imagination of my mind. Please don't forget to vote with your power stones cause it's an Eratonium for me and comment on the story. That's a motivation. Have a nice reading. Thank you!!!

To the dungeon

Chapter 16

Kimberly's POV:

"Hey!" I get disrupted by a woman's voice. I lift my eyes to find out that it's Ashlyn.

She runs to me and kneels right beside me. She spies on my whole body and then puts her hands on my shoulders and caresses me gently. Before I can even think of a better reason why I am feeling like this, I feel a warmth inside my heart just because of that small care for me.

My eyes fill out as she continues doing that and I burst into heavy tears. I cry with the loudest voice that I have ever cried in my whole life. I don't know what happened to me. What got inside me and what filled my soul suddenly but I just want to cry out loudly.

I have so much inside my heart and I don't even know because of which reason I am crying but the space in my chest feels extremely heavy that I cannot even think of.

She kneels beside me until I am done with my whole crying.

"You okay, now?" she asks. I simply nod my head.

"I am sorry I shouldn't have created a scene too. I know how harsh and cruel he can be. I am sorry for putting you in this position but I suggest you not to run away again. Please! Do that. Can you please stay until you are found to be innocent? I can't see Simon's life put in danger because of you. I know our Alpha and if Simon keeps on doing that for you, it's sure he is going to be exiled," she says.

Exiled?

Do they have a system of exile?

"Exile? But he is his friend?" my voice gets smarter as I am concerned about the talk when it is about Simon.

"Yes, exile. He is his friend that is why he will do that. If it was other persons, he would have killed them instead of giving them this much time to prove their innocence. You are alive because of Simon and Simon could die because of you. So, can you please make sure that you will not try to do something that's going to hurt him?" she requests.

With her voice and action, I can surely tell that she has a soft corner for Simon. I don't know what it is but it's not only just friendship. It's more than that. That intense care in her eyes for him, I have never seen those types of eyes in my whole life.

"Okay! I promise I will not do that. I don't want to keep his life in danger as well. I am sorry. I don't want to put anyone's life in danger. I ran away because I felt I wasn't safe here. He is going to kill me and that's what made me run away from here. It's not that I wanted to keep someone else's life in danger. Can I ask you what would you have done if you were in my place?" I question.

Her gazes are confused for a bit. She doesn't know what should she answer me. And she will never know what should she answer to me cause she isn't me and she doesn't know what have I gone through. Only, I know my story and only I can tell what I have been through.

"Leave it," I say as I pick up the keys from the floor and walk towards the room, I am given.

"Stop!" I hear Alpha's voice.

Is he still here? What is he doing over here again?

I don't look at his face. I am tired of looking at his face. I don't want to encounter those eyes of his again. They have so much distrust in them and I can completely know that they abhor me to the limit that I cannot explain at all.

I gulp the lump of saliva on my throat as I stand on that same place. Then, I suddenly feel my wolf dancing in joy inside me. Why is she doing that? For what?

I hear his footsteps rushing towards me. I feel a strange and weird wind filling in my soul when he is moving to me. And suddenly he grabs my arms with so much strength that it hurts me like hell.

"Who told you, you can go over there? You're going right to the dungeon. You expect me to give you a princess treatment after you have tried to go against my decisions." His voice reverberates all over the place shaking even the inner core of me.

I turn my gaze towards Ashlyn. She is terrified as hell too.

"Dungeon? No! That's impossible… Don't take her there. You know how worse is that place Alpha. She can die in there. It's worse than hell and what kind of person stays over there," Ashlyn shouts. I have never thought even once that she could shout back to the Alpha in that way. With the shiver and shocks in her voice, I can easily comprehend that he is sending me to hell.

"Voice down, Ashlyn! How dare you raise your voice against me? You know I am the rule maker of this pack and everyone has to do as per my rule," he roars at her. I see Ashlyn's eyes on half tears ready to fall down the rim of her eyes at any moment.

"But she isn't found guilty. What if she isn't what you have thought her of? Will you be able to forgive yourself for the wrong decision that you have made?" Ashlyn's voice lowers.

I cannot understand why she is trying so hard to protect me but even after running away and keeping her in a really bad position, she is here trying to protect me like this.

"She ran away! She didn't follow the orders that she was told to do. Don't you think that's breaking the rules and going against the pack too?" His voice intensifies.

"B-But…," she cannot speak other words at all after that. Her speechlessness makes me realize that mistakes cannot be forgiven here. Even if it means it's not harming others at all.

"Fine! Take me wherever you want. If it's a dungeon, then it's a dungeon. I know you will not change your decisions at any cost. I have thought of you as a wise Alpha but you aren't. You're just a stubborn and selfish Alpha who is bound with only your selfish desires." My voice gets timid. I don't know where did I get that courage from but I don't regret any of the words that I have spoken right now.

He lets out a mock laugh as he moves his eyes to another side and blurts, "Take her to the dungeon! Right now!!"

I hear footsteps walking towards me. I turn my gaze and find out it's Archie.

What could be worse than this? It feels like I am being taken to get slaughtered and am being accompanied by my enemy.

He walks and bows in front of Alpha and stands in front of me. I can see how timid and proud his face is to be able to serve his Alpha, that stubborn and foolish Alpha.

He signals me to move. Before leaving the place, I take a look at Ashlyn, who is feeling helpless and then I move my eyes to Alpha who seems to be not caring about what am I going through at all.

I wish he goes to hell for god's sake! How in the world a guy like him born for god's sake!!

I breathe out a heavy sigh and follow that imprudent guy. Weirdly, he doesn't hold me or touch me and treats me like a criminal.

"Don't you try to run away! The result now can be worse than you have thought." I hear his voice reverberating in that dark alley.

"I won't." My voice is firm and there are no regrets in my voice.

"You won't be able to stupid. The moment you try to walk back, you will be perished into ashes. This is the specialty of this place. Why did you think Ashlyn was so concerned about it? Because she knows what's this place like? She designed it herself," he says.

"What?"

They have such places designed just to make sure that their criminals don't run away. That's way too much.

This is even weird when I see that the lights keep on turning on as we walk ahead and the lights behind me switch off as we pass through it.

"I guess we are dying together." I hear my wolf sounding hopeless.

"You're unbelievable. You were supposed to cheer me up in this stage but you are instead trying to make me feel worse." My mind speaks to her.

"Alpha is too harsh. But I thought he was kind enough to let us go," she says.

"How in the world you thought that? That guy is nothing but a wholesome bunch of trash. You know he can never be good at all."

"But I sensed it." She purrs inside.

I cannot believe that my wolf has such a wrong sense. I feel bad that my wolf is kind of dumb too.

"Hey! I am not dumb!" she shouts inside.

"Yeah!" I answer her. This time it is a voice that Archie can hear.

He turns back to me but in a moment loses the control of his body. My quick senses hold him before he makes it to the ground.

"You okay?" I ask.

I hear him panting really hard. It was just a floor. Why was he scared to hell like that?

Suddenly, I feel a sensation of warmth around me. And the temperature levels up so suddenly…

What the hell is going on?
