Halueth's body trembled slightly as he looked at Ylyndar's jealous gaze. He composed himself and calmly asked, "So what if I'm just one of Ethlando's playthings? But in his eyes, you might not even be worthy of that title."

Ylyndar felt his hidden feelings exposed, and a cold chill ran down his spine. He instinctively stepped back and nervously protested, "What are you implying... I never..."

— I never loved Ethlando.

Ylyndar ultimately didn't utter those words, but as he met Halueth's piercing gaze, he knew that Halueth had already figured it out.

"Who told you... does he... does he know?" Ylyndar's composure crumbled.

For the first time, Halueth saw a look of panic on his usually proud and confident younger brother's face.
