chapter 26: Shadow of the past

Stan releases her and sat at the edge of the bed. He was deep in thought as he had a faraway look on his face. Tess knew something was wrong somewhere as she drew close to him and just rested her head on his shoulder.

"If you don't want to talk about it, I don't mind, but I want to know". Stan looked at her with such pain in his eyes, he said, "You are right, you do deserve to know"

. Tess, I did fall in love once, but it went bad, really bad.

Porte was everything I wanted in a woman but I guess, I was not what she wanted. I gave her my heart but I guess, it was not enough. She was from my background, rich and influential. It was a great match but she deceived me. I later found out she was in another affair while we were together. "It hurt really bad Tess". As he spoke, there was pain in his eyes and voice and Tess could not bear it, she wrapped her hands around him. He turned and looked at her and whispered, "I must have hurt you like that, oh please forgive me. I was so blinded by jealousy, I didn't look into the matter seriously, I just felt pain all over again and I just ran off. I should have known you were not like Porte but too many memories rose so quickly when I saw the picture, I just snapped.

Tess looked at him with such love in her eyes, and took one of his and placed it on her left side under her breast, "My heart belongs to you, I will never take it from you ever, but do my your heart belong to me?

Her question was not answered by word a he kissed her and tears were dropping from his eyes. When the kiss was over, she looked at him and said, I want to hear you say it.

He looked at her and said, Tess Mason, I give you my heart, it's all yours if you will have me. She pulls him with her into the bed and begs him to make love to her. And with all the passion and love he possessed, he discovered her body as only he could.

Katie got home late from her date with Jamie and didn't find Tess at home. She called her number but no response.

As she began to get worried, Tess didn't call back but sent a message."Katie sorry for not picking up your call, please don't be worried, I am fine and will explain everything when we see tomorrow at work Love Tess.

Katie was wondering where could she have gone that she was sleeping out. Tess never does that except, and a smile crosses her face as she thinks. "I smell Stan in this matter, he is the only one who makes her sleep out'.

Well, we just have to wait and see, she thought as she went to bed that night.

Tess work up with Stan smiling at her with so much love, he pulled himself up to her. I miss you so much, he said, "Me too she replied. As she checked the time, "What, it's way past my outing time. I need to get home immediately". Stan looked at her and said, "you are going nowhere. Call Katie and tell her you are with me, you can go home tomorrow. I would prefer you come home with me,

Tess, jumped out of bed and was getting dressed, but couldn't find some of her clothing, " I am serious Stan, where is my bra?.

Well hidden, and I am serious, you are not going anywhere tonight. Please, stay I promise to get you home early tomorrow.

Tess knew he was serious and came back to the bed sat beside him kissed him and groaned with pleasure. "You win tonight, but I will not go home tomorrow, I will just resume work and text Katie, that we will see tomorrow at work.

Stan loves the way she gives in to him every time. He got up and began to serve the food and said, "my love, you can work up an appetite for a grown man".

As he served the food, she saw her bag and things and wondered, how it got up here.

Stan said, "I took the liberty to get everything you need up here". With a smile to make love to her throughout the night, he said, "Come eat, I need your energy up, we have a lot of catching up to do".

But Tess had a frown on her face, as she walked towards the set table,

"Why the frown my love? Stan asked.

"I don't want everyone to know about us, can we keep this a secret, please?

Stan said, "You know they will eventually find out, but I had to tell the director because I need him to keep his eyes on you.

Tess was shocked when she knew her director had known about her and Stan for a while. "What exactly do you mean, keep her eyes on me?

Stan had a steep look on his face, "I have spied on you through the CCTV camera".

"I knew it, I have been feeling as if someone has been spying on me, for a while now, it was you all the time".

"Guilty as charged. Stan said, lifting both hands. "Please come and eat something, I am sure you haven't eaten dinner.

As she sat down to eat, she felt happy and eat her meal as she noticed Stan was just looking at her.
