Xiong Jingfei gripped onto the jacket covering her face as she pulled her erratic emotions together before pulling it down. Then with the slightest tug, she let it come falling to her side as she revealed the face she was willing to show Feng Huan. 

Feng Huan loosened his grip on her wrist as he took a step back. He had the look of utter confusion, and it wasn't because of her expressionless face that won't give him an answer. 

"W-what was…" Feng Huan's voice trembled as he was having a hard time finishing what he wanted to say. 

He took another step back but had a misstep, and it caused him to fall backward. His bottom landed hard on the ground, but his focus was still directed towards Xiong Jingfei. The corner of his eyes began to burn. As they were also heated with millions of questions, and she was the answer to all of them.
