Lucas pressed Santoro hard against the wall. pinning his hands behind his back, his side head pressed against the wall.
He draws closer whispering to Santoro's ear trying to get information related to his father. As he noticed Jim, Brook, and Kally busy observing and checking for a possible attack.
"What about Leonardo, how were you able to take him down? Who else was involved. Lucas whispered almost to himself.
Santoro chuckled, hesitates. but Lucas running out of patience, pressed him harder against the wall. Santoro smirked, trying hard to loose from Lucas's grip.
"Giorg.. Giorgio, Leonardo's assistant." Santoro smirked almost under his breath struggling to speak as the grip on his neck is thight.
But before he could finish, the siren vehicles alarm gets louder
"Shadow, we got company. The police, We gat to move." Brook echoed.
"I'm not done with you Santoro. We still gat some scores to settle. See you around, Santoro. Lucas muttering slamming him against the wall, knocking him out.
The next day Lucas meets Alex, reveals the information he just gathered from Santoro
"What... Giorgio, that bastard. Leonardo trusted him with his life, How could he. I will kill him myself." Alex uttered in shock, clenching his fists.
"I need to meet Giorgio tonight. Make the arrangement and give me feedback." Lucas says expressionless.
That night in a cold dark room, lit only by a single lamp on the corner of the desk. The shadows danced across Lucas's masked face. Across from him standing Giorgio, one of Leonardo's most trusted advisors, now visibly uncomfortable. Lucas, calm and collected, leaned back in his chair, his eyes never leaving Giorgio.
Lucas voice calm, yet laced with menace
"Take a seat, Giorgio. We need to talk."
Giorgio, visibly nervous, settled into the chair across from Lucas. trying to maintain his composure, but the tension in the room was thick enough to choke him. His eyes darted around the room with different thoughts crossing his mind.
"Who are you? And what do you want from me? Giorgio mumbled trying to keep composed, his heart beating faster.
Lucas leaned forward slightly, his gaze piercing through the older man. His voice dropped an octave, the calm tone masking the storm brewing inside him.
Lucas quietly intoned
"Tell me, Giorgio... How well did you know my father, Leonardo.?
The question was simple, but it hit like a bullet. He swallowed hard, sweat forming on his brow. He shifted uncomfortably in his chair, his hands shivering uncontrollable.
Giorgio stammering slightly
"Leo... Leonardo... Your father? No impossible Leonardo had no heir."
Lucas jaw tightens with his fists clenched. He pounds the table, echoing. "Now spare me the trash, and make sure to answer every question thrown at you perfectly. That's if you want to leave here alive, and save your family."
Giorgio stammering slightly "Please don't touch my family. Leonardo... Your father and I, we were close. I served him loyally for years."
Lucas's lips curled into a cold smile.
Lucas leaning in, voice icy "Loyal, were you? Is that what you call loyalty. selling him out? Handing him over to Santoro like a lamb to the slaughter?"
Giorgio froze, with his pale expression. His eyes widened in shock as the accusation hung in his neck, breathing heavily, restless.
Giorgio voice shaking as he mumbled.
"I..I have no idea what you're talking about"
Lucas stood up suddenly, and slammed his fist down on the desk. The force of the blow made Giorgio flinch.
"Don't lie to me, Giorgio! I know you were part of the conspiracy. You can either tell me the truth, or leave me with no option but to drag it out of you, by force." Lucas growls, boiling in anger.
The threat in Lucas's voice wasn't the kind to take lightly, and for a moment, Giorgio's face cracked. His hands trembled as he looked up at the man before him. the son of the man he had betrayed.
Giorgio voice barely a whisper "Please... I didn't have any other choice."
Lucas standing up, stood behind Giorgio. His presence looming over the terrified advisor.
"There's always a choice, Giorgio. You made yours. Now, tell me... who else was involved?"
Lucas softly moving to and fro behind him, dangerously.
Giorgio's breath beats faster, as he shook his head.
"It wasn't supposed to go these way. Santoro... he approached me. Said Leonardo was becoming too powerful, that he had enemies everywhere. He promised protection... for me, for my family. I thought it would just be business." Giorgio pleading
Lucas grabbed Giorgio by the back of his chair and turned him around to face him.
Lucas furiously lashed out. "You betrayed him! My father trusted you, and you betrayed him for your own survival. Do you think that's an excuse?"
Giorgio was trembling now, fear radiating from him in waves. He was a man cornered, and he knew there was no way out.
"I'm sorry, young master. I didn't want this. But it wasn't just Santoro. There's someone else. Someone more powerful. A man in the government." Giorgio whimpering regrettably.
Lucas's eyes narrowed, his grip on Giorgio tightening.
Lucas dangerous whisper "Who?"
Giorgio voice barely audible
"I don't know his name. He operates in the shadows, pulling strings behind the scenes. He wanted your father dead because Leonardo controlled too much... too many businesses, too much influence. This man wants it all."
Lucas released Giorgio, the weight of the conspiracy settling over him like a dark cloud. His father hadn't just been killed by a rival mafia boss. this was much larger, more dangerous. It reached into the highest levels of power, into the heart of the country's elite.
Lucas cold, calculating "You're going to tell me everything you know about this man. Every connection, every meeting. And you'd better hope, for your sake, that your information is good."
Giorgio desperately "I swear, I'll tell you everything. Please... just don't kill me."
"That will depend on you. Leonardo not having an heir, remains that way. And make sure every interaction here stays dark. Unless you want to be Six feet down." Lucas grins, with a Stern warning.
Lucas turned his back on the advisor, his mind racing. The truth was beginning to unravel, but it also meant he was up against forces far greater than he had anticipated. His father's death was part of a larger plot. One that Lucas was now determined to destroy.
