Emperor Style(Working on it)

{I made use of POV in the first chapters, which I feel that I needed to do.

If you don't like my use of POV, I can assure you that I reduced it as the novel Progress, so please bear with the first chapters}.

Liam POV

Everything seems to be going wrong, it's just all fucked up, I wish I can just do what I want without those old coots interfering, but it's all just a dream, nothing can go the way you want.

Beside me was Maria, she seemed to be lost in thought, maybe thinking about the future.

She's really beautiful, sometimes I wonder how she fell in love with me, it just seems so unreal, for such a beautiful angel to fall in love with me.

Don't look at me weirdly, yeah I know she's a real angel, but I mean angel in a beautiful sense.

Turning towards me, with a strange expression on her beautiful face. I could tell she sees me as a weirdo or some pervert.

Glaring at me she stands up walking down the mountain, following suit I walked towards her.

"where are you going?" I asked still unsure of her stance.

"Back home," she said, continuing down the mountain.

" Why so early?" I asked, feeling insecure.

"so they don't suspect anything," she said not turning back to look at me.

"Those bastards, did they do anything to you?" I said furious and scared that they had figured it out.

"No" she replied, in what seemed to be a rushed tone, still moving downwards.

"Then why are you acting so strange, you didn't talk much, and you look scared and maybe a little confused," I said to her, not hiding my insecurities.

"Am I that readable?" she inquired, finally stopping to look at me.

"No," I said without thinking "am the only one who can".

Maria POV

I don't know what to say to you, maybe I should tell you the truth, but how would you react, I feel scared maybe you will leave me, get angry or tell me to do the unthinkable.

"Do you love me?" I asked, looking at him intensively, unsure of his reply.

"What do you think" he Inquired, looking at me with does fiery red eyes, which looked like they could light the whole world.

I don't know what to say, 'I know he loves me', or should I say 'I believe I know'.

Because if I knew then why am I scared?

Looking back at him, I couldn't say anything, because I didn't know what to say.

'Sob sob sob', I started crying without even knowing the reason.

Liam POV

Seeing her cry like that, made me feel like crying, feeling a sharp pain in my chest region.

Trying to stay strong I walked up to her, raising her chin, so her eyes could meet mine.

"There's no need to cry," I said, giving her a reassuring smile.

"I will always stand by your side, even though the whole world leaves you".

Maria POV

I don't know what to do after that statement, bracing myself for what was to come I decided to open up.

"I am pregnant," I said still sobbing, trying my best to look at his face, to see any reaction, maybe happy.

Meeting the sad look on his face, I could see my worst fears coming to pass.

"Please don't tell anyone," I said in a rush.

"If you don't want the child I will do my best to take care of it.

Just please keep this a secret, at least till I can protect it," I said, praying to whatever divine being that exists to help me out.

Liam POV

Having I child is not a problem for me, but I know we are not ready for that.

But seeing her face and hearing everything she said, I knew I was either with her or against her, it was left for me to decide, the part I want to follow.

having the power to send me toward my ruin and separate me from the love of my life.

"*sigh* No need to be scared, like I said I will always be with you, what you are carrying is also mine, why are you so scared," I said smiling, also trying to look and sound confident.

"Really?" she said, with a radiant smile on her face.

Maria POV

Saying I was shocked would be an understatement.

I felt like my whole world was burning with an intense light, a light that I wouldn't want to go out.

"Really?" I asked, trying to confirm if I heard him correctly. To which he replied with a tight and warm hug.

Relishing in the beautiful feeling of the tight, loving, and gentle hug, separating only after few minutes.

"So what's our plan," I said, trying to include him in all the plans I had made before our meeting.

"We look for where to hide," he said sounding a little bit hesitant.

"From the records in my clan's library, there should be other worlds in the vast universe that we can go to," I said excitedly.

"It's not that simple, only a few people in my clan's history succeeded in living this world.

And many died trying to, I don't think it's a good idea," he said in a Stern tone.

Liam POV

I don't know why she's trying to bring that up, leaving the grasp of this world isn't a good thing.

If the stories are true then there should be more powerful people outside our world we can't take that risk, and we won't.

"Domains exist in different parts of our world and even the most powerful existence can't get in easily without the domain's owner permission," I said, bringing up a better idea.

"And how do we own one ??" she asked, looking at me strangely and sounding a bit sarcastic.

"We just have to work hard, we have a lot of people that owe us favors and some other stuff," I said. trying to keep my cool.

"Okay, then how do we keep it a secret?" she said, still weirdly looking at me.

"Just don't tell anyone," I said, Sounding like it was the obvious choice.

"Are you forgetting due to our nature we are very good in the aspect of life?

Which makes it easier for those elders to find out even though I hide it with all my powers" she said, giving me an intense look.

"Just try to hide it for some days until we find a way.

And if you see anything suspicious, send me a signal and remember to run as fast as you can," I said.

To be honest, I was scared, but as the guy I believe I should be the strong one.

"Don't be scared I will do just fine, love you" she said as if reading my thought, giving me a short and simple peck on my lips.

"I love you too," I said returning the peck, a little hesitant to separate.

But It was a necessity, saying our goodbyes we separated, to meet again to fight the long battle ahead of us.
