Same here, I love it too. "All of them made comments except Snow, who was now shedding tears.

Emmy was shocked and quickly drove her attention to her. "What happened, dear? I thought you would love something white in color, that's why I selected white for you. Did I guess wrong your favorite? Don't worry, Mom will make up for it." Emmy said with visible concern on her face.

Snow shook her head and shed more tears. "I love it and I love you Mom. The clothes are my favorite too, I am just too happy." She replied and hugged Emmy tightly.

She was very touched, she didn't expect Snow to love them so much. She just couldn't believe that she would find a mother that cared so much about their well-being. In the beast world, after a child is born, the mother will only carry out the responsibilities of a mother for a short period of time. After that, they would be left to care for themselves.

Emmy was lost in thought. "I don't even know how to start taking care of them. The person that I was sold to, I don't know how he will treat me. It seems like I will only rely on my luck this time. If not for needing money, I wouldn't even bother about them, much less agreeing with them." She rubbed her aching head. "No matter what, I should try my luck. If my luck is good, I will first send them to school. If my luck is bad, I will just run away. Sam and his wife will find a solution to their problem." She decided.

As she was already lost in thought, she heard a familiar voice which brought her back to reality. Looking at the owner of the voice, she was surprised and filled with excitement immediately. "Lilly." She called and approached the lady.

Lilly was Emmy's best friend since they started school. They both loved each other like no end. Lilly knew everything about Emmy's family matters, and she had helped Emmy twice when she was at death's door. If not because Lilly was forced by her parents to further her studies abroad, Emmy would have long left her family and wouldn't have given birth by now.

"Emmy!" Lilly screamed as soon as she saw the person that called her. She forgot her elegant self and cast aside those that she was chatting with and ran up to Emmy, hugging her tightly. "When I came back, the first thing I did was to check on you, but I found out that you had dropped out of school. I went to check on you at your house, but your mother chased me away. I have been trying every possible way to reach you, but all was in vain. Tell me, how have you been? Don't worry, I'm back now, you have me with you now." She said, consoling Emmy.

Emmy smiled bitterly. "When did you arrive?" She asked.

"Three days ago." Lilly replied, then she turned to those that she was chatting with earlier. "I will see you guys later. You can come tomorrow too. I'm busy right now." She said, and the people nodded their heads before leaving.

Lilly pulled Emmy to a tea table and said, "Things must have been very hard on you, right? I told you then, to secretly go abroad with me. I can handle both of our expenses, but you wouldn't listen. See how skinny you are." She pouted angrily.

Emmy smiled beautifully. "Your father would have killed both of us if he later found out. Think straight, baby girl. I just didn't want to implicate you and spoil your future." She chuckled.

Lilly glared at Emmy angrily. "Have a cup of tea first," she passed a cup to her. "Tell me how you have managed yourself all these years." She said.

Emmy told Lilly her experiences but omitted the existence of her children.

"So you were poisoned." Lilly rubbed her cheek. "I don't understand why people just want to kill you." She was fuming with anger.

Emmy chuckled. "My life is very long and thick. I didn't get killed anyway. I just left them be."

"Are you planning on running away? Don't worry, I'm here for you. I can help." Lilly knew that the 'I just left them be' that Emmy said, she was referring to Sam and her mother.

"Run away." Emmy chuckled and shook her head. "I did not plan to run." She replied calmly.

Lilly was confused. "So what are you planning to do?"

"Nothing."

"Nothing?"

"Actually, I was sold away. I know it's not for a job, but I still placed my hope on the man." Emmy replied.

"Emmy! You were what!" Lilly almost screamed. "How can you allow yourself to be sold? What on earth are you thinking with your brain?" She scolded.

Emmy just smiled. "Calm down, I am no longer the Emmy you know. Don't worry; if the man turns out to be negative to my expectations, I will just flee. It will be their problem, not mine." She explained.

Lilly blinked. "You are saying this. What if the man turns out to be..."

"You worry too much." Emmy smiled. "If he turns out to be an assassin or something, I can still handle it. Don't forget I'm good in boxing. If that doesn't work, seduction is available as well. I have many ways to escape." She winked at Lilly.

Lilly sighed. Emmy was right. When they were in school and she was kidnapped, this girl managed to escape and crippled those people with an unknown object.

"What if he is an ugly freak, a crippled man, perhaps he has some contaminated disease, or maybe he is a vegetarian?" Lilly said with a serious expression.

Lilly rolled her eyes. "By the way, what are you doing here?" Lilly's gaze landed on the hotel that was only 2 meters away from the tea shop, and then her eyes widened. "Normally, it was people that logged into the hotel that came here. Emmy, don't tell me..."

Emmy laughed. "I always tell you to think positively, you are even thinking negatively of me." She smiled.

"Hump". Lilly scoffed. "I just want to confirm that you didn't turn yourself dirty just because you need money. Don't worry; if the Man turns negative to your expectation, I am here for you. Don't even dare to try to dirty yourself." She pointed seriously at her.

"I'm not that cheap, baby girl." Emmy smiled. "I came here to deliver clothes for my children."

"That's more like it... you what?" Lilly rose immediately and looked at Emmy with disbelief.

Emmy's mouth twitched after she noticed that she had let slip the secret. She couldn't take it back, and just accepted the mistake. "Don't ask me how I got pregnant, who their father is, and so on. Because if you ask me, I won't reply, as I am completely clueless about it." Emmy said to avoid Lilly's next questions.

Lilly's mouth was wide open, she blinked several times before sitting back down. She looked at Emmy weirdly and asked, "You said their... how many are they?"
