Divine Intervention? It's Just a Whim

In a world the humans refer to as heaven.

An array formed by countless runes could be seen, the runes were not only on the ground but also floated in the air, each rune containing unimaginable amount of divine energy.

A luminous ball of light could be seen gradually taking the shape of a person.

After a while, it completely took shape however it only seemed like a soul, its body made of light.

Its two eyes started to open as though waking up from a long slumber, its expression was indifferent.

As though it had been waiting for it to gain consciousness, a soft and calm voice resounded.

The voice spoke towards the soul-like existence at the center of the array, "From today forth, your name shall be Ainchase Ishmael"

The voice that had said these words to Ain was the Goddess Ishmael.

Although he had just been created a moment ago, Ain is a special existence created by the goddess and understood the goddess' message.

Upon hearing the goddess, Ain had not responded but the goddess knew that he was listening so she continued.

"The energy within the El has already been depleted, your mission is to replenish its energy and return to this domain"

The goddess Ishmael governed a continent known as Elrios, the El was a stone bestowed upon the humans of Elrios by the goddess, it contained El energy which the humans use in their everyday lives.

Throughout the passage of time, the El energy within the El had started to diminish and it was running out, the energy had to be replenished but the goddess is unable to descend to Elrios so she created an emissary, the emissary was naturally Ain.

After a pause, the goddess continued.

"Do not interact with the humans unless its absolutely necessary"

Sensing that the goddess had already finished her instructions, Ain finally responded to the goddess.

"Yes, Goddess"

The goddess was satisfied with her emissary's reply and prepared to send Ain on his way.

Ain started to glow even brighter than before and disappeared from the array, the runes started to fade and the array disappeared.

At the sky of a city within Elrios, a certain place started to ripple, followed by a luminous body appearing on that spot.

Ain had been sent near the place where the El lies, he was currently slowly descending with the help of the runes the floated around his body.

As he descended, he felt something strange but could not respond in time.

Boom!

A massive explosion took place and illuminated the whole area causing Ain to squint his eyes and use his arms to block it from the extremely bright light.

Ain sensed that the energy from the explosion was El energy and knew that something went wrong with the El.

At the same time, a crack appeared on the space just behind Ain.

He sensed the distortion of space nearby and tried to escape, however, he failed to do so as a strong suction force pulled him in to the crack.

Ain was quickly engulfed and the crack disappeared.

The bright light subsided and silence filled the city that was left in ruins by the explosion.

Ainchase was brought to a desolate place.

He was currently in a state of confusion and was extremely shocked due to what had transpired, he gradually tried to calm himself down.

After some time of trying he was able to significantly calm himself, but his hands were still shaking.

He recollected the events that occurred.

As he was sent to Elrios to complete his mission, something unexpected occurred and the El exploded, due to the explosion, a distortion appeared and brought him to the void between time and space.

Yes, he was currently in the void between time and space, a space that contained Henir's energy, and the energy itself was rampant.

Henir was the god completely opposite of the goddess Ishmael, naturally, Henir's energy was also the complete opposite of Ishmael's, Ain's situation was extremely dangerous as he was created by the goddess' energy, he couldn't remain in the void any longer cause if the energy within it corrupts his body then he will cease to exist.

Ain realized the severity of his situation and decided to immediately get out of the void, however he had a huge problem.

He noticed the he couldn't use his energy in order to open a way out of the void.

He was extremely frustrated but decided to remain calm as worrying can do nothing about his situation.

He started looking around and scan his surroundings but found nothing, everywhere he looked is an endless abyss.

After looking around, he noticed a spec of light, the light was so small that it was hard to noticed.

Ain knew that he didn't have much of a choice but try to reach that light so he started walking.

In a certain place, a figure had noticed that someone had entered his domain.

The figure observed Ain who was wandering in the void, a tinge of amusement appeared on the figure's eyes.

The figure was naturally Henir.

Within the void of time and space, all laws are distorted.

Ain kept on walking towards the spec of light but it doesn't seem to get any closer, but he still kept on walking.

As he kept walking time continued to pass, seconds became minutes, then minutes became hours until finally it kept on passing that Ain lost track of time but he still kept on walking.

From the time Ain had started walking, he felt that the negative energy of the void had started to slowly corrupt his body.

Time passed and he felt that it might have already been a few centuries since he had started walking, Henir's energy had already corrupted most of his body, his existence was starting to waver.

More time passed and he was finally about to reach his destination, he was starting to feel hope.

Ain reached the light and saw that it was a crack that led out of the void, he started to reach towards it.

Henir who had been observing Ain as he struggled his way towards the crack suddenly thought of an idea as he saw Ain reach it.

Ain was about to touch the crack when suddenly, it disappeared.

He was stunned upon the disappearance of the crack and his hopes were shattered.

He despaired as he crumbled to his knees.

A long time had already passed and he felt that Henir's energy had already corrupted his body.

His existence was on the verge of disappearing.

From another dimension, an old man was seated within a pavilion, the passage of time could be seen on his face, his hair was white and he also had a long white beard, his eyes were close.

Suddenly, he opened his eyes as though he had noticed something, his eyes seemed as though he was gazing at various worlds.

He then sighed and started sending energy somewhere.

Ain had given up hope as his body started disappearing, eventually what was only left was a ball of light the grew dim, it started flickering as it was on the verge of disappearing.

However, before it disappeared, a blue light appeared out of nowhere, it went towards the ball of light and covered it.

Not long after, the ball of light covered with the blue light disappeared from the void, unknown whether it had disappeared from existence or was transported somewhere else.
