Night training

Finally, we reached the guild, when we went from the fifth floor towards the exit of the dungeon nothing interesting happened other than that we killed the Goblins, Kobolds, and some Dungeon Lizards that we found on the way.

When we entered we went straight to the trading area and put all the magic stones we got in the dungeon.

In, total we got 16800 Valis. Although it was a decent amount. We are 4 people, so we have to divide them between us.

We divided it equally and I ended up with a total of 5700 valis because he always charges them 500 valis every time we go to the dungeon in exchange for maintaining their weapons, even though all I do is sharpen them.

I had thought of doing it for free, but I have to buy stones to sharpen the swords, and I don't want them to get in the habit of me doing things for free either.

So this is the best for all of us. The good thing is that none of them were hurt so we don't need to spend valis to replenish potions.

After making the exchange, each one of us went to our respective advisors.

This time instead of lying on my bed for a while contemplating what I did for the day and then doing daily maintenance on our guns.

I walked over to a box where I keep the clothes I usually wear, even though they all look pretty much the same apart from the color and a few minor tweaks.

This time I didn't choose any of them and rummaged through the box until I found a brown full-body robe. After finding the robe I took off the pajamas I was wearing and changed into a full body suit of the same brown color and then the robe, before putting on the belt I usually use to keep Adam and Eve out.

Finally, I put on a mask and walked to the window. It was already night, but thanks to the moonlight and the stars I could see enough that I didn't have to worry about bumping into anything on the ground.

I have already recovered a lot of MIND thanks to the regeneration that my serene state gives me. So I don't have to worry about getting MIND ZERO from using too much MIND in a short time.

I yelled "Hinding!" stretching out my hand in the direction of the nearest portal and I saw how it came out in the same direction as the other portal only unlike when I use Hinding normally, the one that came out through the portal seemed to go faster and with better range.

Usually, when I cast Hinding has a 'cap' because when I crosses a certain distance I starts to disintegrate. But when I throw it through the portal, in addition to being stronger, it increases the distance of that 'limit'.

The reason why I have to practice outside the Orario instead of the dungeon is that I can expose my identity because the upper floors are usually heavily populated with level 1 adventurers. Although there aren't as many as in the Danmachi series due to this is the Dark Age with Evilus roaming freely in Orario, which makes being an adventurer more dangerous than it normally should be.

I let go of my thoughts and cast another Hinding, only this time I tried to change the direction the portal is pointing away from me.

Which was quite difficult for me. Because controlling them when they are far away is much more complicated and also costs MINDS just not as much as when you created the portal.

I better try to learn to control the direction they point because whenever I create and close portals many times in a short time, the amount of MIND I use to create them usually increases which can be dangerous in the dungeon and that's why I preferred to cast Hinding magic directly instead of creating portals because, in addition to costing less MIND, it also had the benefit of healing me.

But thanks to the Killer Ant sacrificing itself so I could test the difference between casting Hinding normally and Hinding going through portals.

With the normal Hinding I needed to hit a Killer Ant three times before leaving his dead, but when I threw the Hinding through the portal it even did enough damage to break the Killer Ant's magic stone.

I started to change the direction of the portal and cast Hinding until I spent a lot of MIND.

I sat on the grass, while I continued to observe the surroundings without letting my guard down and rested for a while until I could recover enough to continue training. This time I will do something different, I started to create the portals, while I was walking.

The reason why I do this is that I find it very difficult to create portals or cast bash when I move because I always end up losing concentration causing the portal to not fully create itself and disappear. Same thing with Hinding only its cast is interrupted and I can't create it even though it's just a word.

It's not the same when I'm in my exalted state though, because when I'm in my exalted state my reaction time improves a lot, I have a better instinct when it comes to fighting, and I can also multitask like using Adam and Eve. in a synchronized way. Which I find difficult to do in my serene state even though it should be the other way around.

"Huff" I sighed and continued training.

I kept doing the same thing and started noticing my flaws, I made a list of things I need to improve which ended with this result.

-Aim: I find it difficult to cast Hinding through the portals because I missed too much calculating where to cast it and I can't stay long just thinking about where to cast the Hinding for fear of missing and wasting MIND.

-Concentration: I need to improve my concentration to be able to cast Hinding and create portals even though I'm moving at high speed and reach a level similar to Ryuu.

-Control: I have to learn to better control the portals because I currently can't use them to their full capacity.

There were more things to improve like my way of fighting with knives and also learning to use the bow better because it will be very useful if I want to get into long-distance combat and not spend too much MIND throwing Punches.

But currently, I feel very tired mentally and I feel a little sleepy because it is already very late at night. So I decided to return to Orario and to the house of the Abeona familia where I began to sharpen the weapons and clean the blood that was on them, before going to sleep.
