All of you against me alone

"I know I'm an idiot, but I didn't know it until this point," I thought as I used Adam and Eva to block the attacks of the War Shadow that had me surrounded. Right now, I am surrounded by many kinds of monsters, and worst of all, I was poisoned by a Purple Moth a short time ago.

I am defending myself and dodging the attacks that come from all directions, but I don't care much about the cuts that were made to me, as long as I don't find them in vital places because I will be able to heal myself using Hinding. The problem is the massive blood loss that they cause me with their cuts, but that's not the worst. Their attacks hurt a lot!

As I kept defending myself and deflecting the attacks of the War Shadows and watching all the monsters approaching this place, which were quite a few, I saw that there was a rabbit with one horn between two War Shadows. It was already quite close, and I was very afraid to see that it kept getting closer. I used all my strength to launch Adam into a War Shadow before making a portal that faced the rabbit's direction and another behind me.

When I finished creating the portal, the rabbit jumped out and was swallowed by the portal, but I didn't pay much attention to it because it kept defending me from the War Shadow's clutches.

I deflected the clawed arm of a War Shadow that was next to me using Eva that was in my left hand. I was going to counterattack, but the War Shadow in front of me, along with the one on my other side, had their claws just a few seconds away from ripping my whole face open, and I could feel time slowing down a bit. I jumped back thanks to my reflexes and ended up going through the portal I had set up earlier. I got to the place where the rabbit was before he tried to attack me and went through the portal.

I hate fighting War Shadows. They are so much stronger and faster than me, and they vastly outsize me, like many other monster monsters. But their long arms with three claws make them have more reach than me when fighting melee, and that makes them very annoying, which makes it very difficult for me to counterattack. I have to be more defensive, waiting for an opportunity. It was the only thing I could think of for just a couple of seconds, trying to find a way out of this situation.

But I didn't have much time to relax because I saw three Frog Shooters attacking me with their tongues from different directions. I jumped to my left, but it was too late, and one tongue hit me on the shoulder.

"Aaaaaaahhhhhh!" I screamed for a moment at the amount of pain that attack inflicted on me and instinctively used my second ability to activate my exalted state.

Gritting my teeth and yelling "Hinding!!" I saw how the light blue burst went towards the Frog Shooter. But just as I launched the beating, I felt a stronger pain coming from my back. I ignored that pain while I closed my mouth with all the force I had in my jaw and squeezed Eva with all my strength before swinging Eva horizontally towards my back, cutting the War Shadow's waist, splitting it in two, and moving away as soon as possible. I noticed that the pain in my back disappeared along with the pain that persisted in my shoulder. I looked behind me and saw that my little backpack was broken, but at least it blocked a lot of War Shadow's damage.

At the same time, I saw that the War shadow was only a few meters away, but I just didn't worry about them and created another portal just one step away and another one towards the corpse of War Shadow, I grabbed Adam, and watched as one of the Needle Rabbits lunged at me. Instead of creating a portal, I waited until he was only a meter away before I slightly tilted my body and buried Adam in his back. I watched as he began to turn into particles and disappear.

It only lasted a brief moment, but instead of watching the Needle Rabbit disappear, I put up a portal and went through it. I spawned quite far away, but I didn't stop there. I closed the first portal I created, opened another one, and went through it in no time. I repeated the same three more times, except that the last portal I put up was three meters high. It was a bit uncomfortable for me to cross it due to the fall, although there wasn't much problem, and I kept running after closing the penultimate portal that I had put.

When I had already moved far enough from the monsters, and I noticed that they were still chasing me, but it was too late for them because I had moved tens of meters away (I think). Instead of just continuing to run away, all I did was turn around, and I could feel the corners of my mouth turn up into a big smile. These sons of bitches will pay for messing with me.

The monsters kept trying to reach me, but I just put a portal next to me and started yelling, "Hinding! Hinding! Hinding! Hinding!" again and again towards the monsters that were approaching the portal. I couldn't kill all of them, and they were already getting closer to where I was, and they had already moved away from the other portal. But instead of being nervous about this situation, I just waited for them to get closer. When they were several meters away, I went back through the portal and kept yelling "Hinding!" to the portal that was several meters high.

They couldn't get away from the portal because they were already pretty close, and they couldn't get closer either because, even though they aren't very intelligent, apart from the War Shadow, the others are animals, and at least they have survival instincts. They tried to get away and run in another direction. But the War Shadow kept running towards the portal. They ended up dying from my beatings along with the other monsters that were nearby, and before I knew it, I had already killed all the monsters that were around 14-18.

"How did you end up in this situation?" It was the first thing I thought before I began to feel that my body was beginning to get very tired. I could only grit my teeth before dragging myself next to the corpses of the monsters. I know that this is not the best I can do now, and it is not the smartest, but I feel like my mind is going blank.

I dragged my bruised body towards the corpses and came to two headless War Shadow corpses that were by the portal. I lay down between them before climbing them on top of my body. Being bigger than me, they could almost cover my body completely, but I couldn't think much about it. I felt my eyes being forced shut and my consciousness slipping away.
