This girl is such a great actor

Aria turned away from Harper and said, "Get it out of your system. Just make sure your relationships are not severed just because random busting. Not that we had one anyway."

Joseph thought he caught a slight glitter on the side of Aria's eye, but Harper again started shouting before he could make sure.

"Who do you think you are!?!?!? Everyone is all in love with you. Treating you like a princess, a hero!!!! Well, I know who you are. You may fool the others acting like you don't need any attention but ..."

Aria held her head and muttered, "This really feels like a deja vu." Then she suddenly caught a sight of a shadow and the next instant, Aria was standing right beside Harper.

Even before Harper had the time to be surprised, or Joseph had time to ask what she was doing, Aria gave Harper a chop on the neck and caught her.

She laid her on the bed and muttered, "It's for your own good."

"Aria what are you..." Joseph began but he was cut off by a look from Aria, and the next instant he knew why.

Miss Anhao walked towards them, one steaming cup in each hand.

Aria was adjusting Harper's blanket as Miss Anhao approached. "She fell asleep?" she was surprised.

Aria nodded with a smile, "Yeah. Probably because I woke her up to bring her here."

Miss Anhao rebuked her as she handed the cup, "You shouldn't have. She is basically fine. Anyway, let her sleep now."

Aria nodded with a childish smile as she took the cup.

Joseph was shocked upon seeing how well this girl acted. If she wanted, anyone would take her for a helpless girl who didn't know what was going around her.

Joseph was lost in thought and barely had the time to mask his own expression as Miss Anhao turned to him and said, "Do you want some Mr. Scott? Doesn't seem like Harper will be taking it."

Joseph replied as he took the cup, "Sure. Please call me Joseph."

Miss Anhao smiled knowingly, "You used to like being called Mr. Scott."

Joseph blushed and took a sip to avoid answering.

Miss Anhao left after Joseph finished his breakfast, taking the tray.

As soon as she was out of sight, Aria got up and took up Harper's wrist. She sat back down after a few seconds, saying, "It's all right. She'll be up in about an hour. Do me a favour Joseph, don't tell her what happened. I'll explain afterwards."

Joseph opened his mouth to say something, but not finding the right words, took another sip.

Aria: "You are probably wondering why I did that right? If Miss Anhao came to find her yelling like that, her explanation would have been that Harper maybe hit her head or something. And then it would be too much of a hassle for her. She was already so agitated."

Joseph opened his mouth and said in a small voice, "That was not what I was wondering."

Aria took a sip and her face lit up.

She said, "Well shoot. I'm feeling generous."

Joseph sighed with a smile. He asked, "I was wondering why this one is always yelling at you? And why are you so kind to her?"

Aria put a finger under her chin, "I don't know the first one. You'll probably have to ask Harper when she wakes up. As for the second, I made a promise."
