I need some private lessons

Aria laughed as Jacob was flustered, "What!! Nooo!!!!"

Jacob hurriedly changed the topic when he saw that the two girls were ganging up on him, "Where did you get that sandwich Aria? You are sure to have missed breakfast. Even me and Helen barely made it in time."

Aria winked as Helen sighed, "She's been to the kitchen."

Jacob was surprised, "But students are not supposed to go into the kitchen."

Aria chuckled, "Your point being?"

Helen shook her head and Jacob sighed, "I guess you're even more of a troublemaker than everyone thinks you to be."

Aria: "You're only punished if you get caught. And as I say, if you follow all the rules, you'll miss all the fun."

Jacob opened his mouth in surprise and Helen looked resigned. Aria changed the topic, "Did you guys have your fights yet?"

Jacob: "No, but they'll soon start. See only four people in front of us."

Aria nodded as she munched on the sandwich. She said, "Okay then. I'll be over there." And she walked over to sit under the shade of a tree, many eyes following her.

Aria was impressed by the way these guys fought. They obviously didn't have much affinity as their powers were not much, but most of the students had cultivated their powers in such a way that their moves easily made up for their lack of raw talent. The student currently fighting had a very vicious style of fighting. His each and every attack was aimed to hurt, there were no feints. But his aggressive style made it easy for Professor Iris to dodge them. She did not have to worry about hidden attacks as his each and every attack was frontal.

Aria then turned her eyes to Professor Iris. She was struck by the grace of her movements. Professor Iris dodged every attack and made no real attempt to attack. All her attacks were feints, anyone could easily tell that.

Aria could see that Professor Iris had her own style of fighting which was very different from Professor Thomas's, she was a strategist, thinking about each and every possibility before making a move.

Aria watched in awe as Professor Iris won each match with the least possible attacks and almost no blocks. "Gosh!! One could learn how to dodge from her. Guess I'm applying for some private lessons as soon as possible." Aria smiled to herself. Despite her train of thought, Aria found herself itching to fight Professor Iris. She wanted to have practical experience of her abilities.

Aria sat up straight as Professor defeated another student and it was Jacob's turn. She peeled her eyes away from Professor and looked at Jacob, who stepped up and took his stance. His eyes glanced towards Aria and she gave him a thumbs-up. "God he seems nervous." Aria chuckled to herself as the fight started.

Aria was much surprised by Jacob's actions. He instantly sprang forward and closed the distance between himself and Professor Iris. Aria thought that he was being stupid trying for hand-to-hand combat, but she soon saw she was wrong. It was not just hand-to-hand combat, Jacob had fashioned himself a long curved sword of water god knows when and was attacking Professor Iris with it.

Professor Iris dodged the sword and other small weapons of water which came towards her.
