Aria chuckled, "I can help fly you back."
A look of horror came upon Harper's face as she said, "Never again am I flying!!! I'm very glad keeping both of my feet on the ground."
Aria laughed, "Okay! Goodnight then."
Harper also laughed as she walked out, "Bye. Goodnight."
Once Harper was gone, Aria packed some of her belongings as she, Jacob, Helen and Joseph were leaving for their home right after breakfast. She tidied up the rest of her room and had just completed, looking at her room with hands in her hips when there was a tap on the window she had just closed.
Aria saw that it was Joseph and opened the window. "What are you doing here?" Aria asked as he climbed in her room.
"We barely had time to talk. What happened? Those girls apologized? I didn't think they would really apologise. But why do you seem so down?" Joseph asked as he sat on a chair.
Aria sighed, "Can we talk tomorrow Joseph. I'm tired. I promise I'll tell you everything tomorrow."
Joseph pursued his lips. He was always sad whenever Aria pushed him away. Though he himself didn't know how he hadn't come to expect it yet. Joseph stood up and put something on Aria's study table. "Fine. But I brought you dinner. Do eat it." he said.
"I'm not hungry." Aria said as he walked to the window. The next instant, Aria turned very red as her stomach growled.
Joseph chuckled and smiled, "Eat. I didn't poison it. And I'm gonna leave anyway. So you can eat in peace."
Aria was a bit taken aback to see his melancholy smile. "Wait!!!!!" she said as Joseph climbed on the window.
"What? You need something else?" Joseph asked, turning back.
Aria played with her hair, "Well, umm..... I don't think we'll have much time to talk tomorrow. Helen and Jacob will be with us. So...."
Joseph climbed down from the window and opened the packet on Aria's table, "Thanks. But you'll have to eat while talking."
Aria nodded and sat down as Joseph took out the dinner he had bought, a bowl of soup, two loafs of bread and a few sandwiches.
Aria told Joseph all that had happened today in the morning and what Bella had done as he urged her to eat. By the time she finished with the story, she had eaten everything Joseph had brought.
Once she was done, Joseph shook his firsts towards the window, "How dare Zach treat you that way!! I always told you he wasn't good enough to befriend!!"
Aria sighed and slapped her forehead, "Calm down Joseph!!"
She continued when Joseph sat back down, "I don't think what Zach did was wrong. I would've reacted the same way if someone did this to my friends. Maybe more violently."
Joseph reached his hand to hold Aria's but checked himself at the last moment. Aria usually shrinked from touch.
"So you think what you did was wrong?" he asked.
Aria shrugged, "I did until half an hour ago. But seeing Harper, I don't think I've done half of what Bella did to her."
"You're planning to expose her?" Joseph asked again.
Aria shook her head, "I'm not." She then looked up at Joseph's face. "Can't we talk about something else. I need to distract my mind." she said.
